I lived in the Maryland area about 15 years ago, and developed a taste for the unique cruisine produced in the area. Being in the area, with some spare time on my hands, I visited the Sunset on the recommendation of a couple local gentlemen. They said they had been eating there for year, and after visiting, I understand why! The patient, friendly staff were happy to point out some of their favorites on the menu, and I was very happy with the results. The Cream of Crab soup was outstanding, the Seafood Platter was enourmous and very well prepared and the Strawberry Shortcake will go down in my own personal book of culinary legends. A mountainous concoction of shortbread, homemade, thick, sweet whipped cream and crisp strawberry sauce! Nothing wrecks a good strawberry shortcake as quickly as mushy strawberries and artificial whipped cream! The staff were great, the food was outstanding, the decor was classic. I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself!
Pros: Cream of Crab soup, Strawberry Shortcake
Cons: Can't think of any right now
