Liza I agree with you on certain things. Day care is unclean, and staff can be cast against each other. Staff as been treated very unfairly, treated very low and has been threaten by the higher positions. It lacks friendliness, kindness, caring and respect. more

My child has been attending the Sunset Park Children's School since 2009. The staff is professional, attentive, and very caring. Each day the children play outside at neighborhood parks and /or playgrounds, learn basics skills, sing and dance, create art projects, and enjoy free time playing at the facility. The curriculum for each age group is carefully developed and age-appropriate. I am a teacher myself and spent considerable time and energy finding the right program for my daughter. Although the SPCS does not have the sleek facade of many of the daycare programs in nearby Park Slope, the dedication and compassion of the staff surpass many of the other schools that I have visited. more

My daughter has been attending the Sunset Park Children’s School for almost two years and has been a member of the 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s classes. The teachers are caring and dedicated and they treat all the children in their care as individuals. They are patient and kind and my daughter loves coming to school each day. The children are engaged in creative activities and draw, paint, and sculpt on a daily basis. My daughter is so proud of the work that she takes home each week—my refrigerator is always covered in her art. The school’s curriculum blends play and learning so that my child has fun while she learns her letters, numbers, and other basic skills. Most importantly, my daughter is learning to share, to be kind to her friends, and to work together as part of a community. \r I have read the negative review on this site and am very saddened by it. I think it’s obvious that the person who wrote it has a personal issue with the school and it is unfair to the teachers and staff who work so hard every day. If you visit the school and spend time in the classrooms, you will see that it is false. \r The Sunset Park Children’s School is the best place for my daughter and I feel secure as a parent knowing that she is spending each day with a staff of caring and loving teachers. really really horrible day care. floors are always dirty. the director is such a whore. she has affairs in the day care. she has retarded people working there. she pays very very little (as if she hired illegals, but yet they are not). does not care about parents feedback. doesn't like black children. awful place. parents please run your child can die on the hands of these stupid people that have no idea what they are doing. CARMEL ROBERSON IS A NASTY WHORE. she is very bitter because she cannot have children. so she takes it out on her personal. plus she doesn't want her staff to be friends so that they don't unite and fight for their rights. run away people! more
