Highly Recommend Sunset Heating & Cooling 6/11/2021

Sunset Heating & Cooling are amazing. We use their service plan so they come out twice a year to check our heating and cooling systems. The most recent service with Josh Sutton we decide it was finally time to replace our furnace and AC systems. He talked me through the options, in a way that I could understand, and scheduled to have a salesman, Jeff, come out the next day to help us get our new system installed promptly. Jeff was professional and knowledgeable and helped us get the best system for our money and even helped with getting financing. He set up the installation for a few days later and Roman did a great job replacing our old systems. Highly recommend these guys! more

AJ is Highly Recommended 5/19/2021

AJ did a great job of my semi annual Heat Pump tune up. She was very patient, and nice, to my barking dog who quickly calmed down ( anyone my dog likes is a good person in my book). She also pointed out with pictures an area that i will need, at some point, cleaning. Her goal was to have my system last another 10 years or more - i like that. more

Joe T. fixed the problem and was very nice to my 91 year old mother. 4/25/2020

The furnace in the condo where my mother lives was stuck on high heat. I called Sunset Heating & Cooling. Their repair man Joe T. showed up when he said he would and promptly fixed the problem. He found the the part that had failed, replaced it, reset the thermostat and tested the system. As well as fixing the furnace Joe was very nice to my 91 year old mother. He had just set up in the hall and opened up the furnace to find the problem when Mom came out her bedroom, pushing her walker and saying she wanted to go sit in the living room. Joe jumped up, gathered up his gear and cleared the way for her. A nice guy who fixed the problem! If I have to call Sunseat again I will be asking for Joe T. more

David Truhlar is awesome 3/1/2019

Furnace had been turning off due to error codes I called this morning and they were able to fit me in this afternoon. David Truhlar to the rescue he explained what was going on and that he could fix it but he needed to get the part. I was worried that it would take long and I wouldn't be able to run errands, that was not the case David made it back in an hour and knock out installation in less than 30 mins. And now we have heat so I'm just grateful it all worked out. David was awesome, friendly and he answered all my questions. more

Joseph is very knowledgeable about the heating system, he really knows what he is doing. He figured out what was wrong with my heating system in less than 20 minutes and he took his time to explain it to me. I really appreciate his service and I will recommend this company to other people. more

    Sunset has been serving Oregon Families Since 1922. Founder, Lloyd Miesen Sr., started out by hauling off saw dust from area saw mills to sell to local families to heat their houses with.     Sunset Fuel was passed from Lloyd Miesen Sr. to his three sons - Lloyd Jr., Lee and Jerry. The three sons ran the company for many years until selling Sunset Fuel in 2004 to the General Manager, David Vernon. The name was changed from Sunset Fuel to Sunset Heating & Cooling but the face that Sunset has been providing area families with, quality heating and cooling products, has never changed.
