Wonderful. From aspiring songwriters to successful songwriters, you'll never know who you're seeing. And they'll think the same thing about you unless you tip your hand. wanna eat great late on a budget or date 9/11/2002

I got us lost between Downtown and the Hotel. After our prom last year my boyfriend and i had a horrible time finding anything open to suite or mood and formal attire. Brittany at Rio Colorodo sent us to Sunset Grill and it was Great! THe mood was perfect it wasn't difficult to park and our service was Awesome. The food was pretty good and for a great price. They did really well and Id suggest this restrant to anyone looking for a nice place to eat even late or on a budget. Sunset Grill is the absolute best place for late night dining. Forget your fears of late leftover food and exhausted ""don't make me do anything because it's almost time for me to get off work"" servers. Sunset's food is always as fresh in late evening as the first dish prepared that night and the servers are always cordial and aidant. Highest regards and recommendations for Sunset. From the moment you walk in till the moment you leave...everything is always perfect. I have never been there and had a problem. The menu is always fresh, but you MUST reserve room for dessert with coffee, it is quite heavenly. more

Consistently excellent 7/11/2002

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our most recent evening at Sunset Grill. The waiter was prompt and efficient, the food was delicious and perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere was gracious and friendly. Be sure and try the new tuna entree--it's fabulous! Kudos to this restaurant that doesn't rest on its laurels, but constantly strives for perfection. Pros: good food, excellent service, see celebrities Cons: noisy, tables close together more

Seen a LOT better performance before... 6/16/2002

Well, i took a new beau there who was new to the Nashville area. The waiter was extremely rude to us. The patio was nice, but in my view, small and you could smell the fumes from the passing cars. I think some people who think this is the BOMB haven't been out of Tennessee much. Randy used to have a wonderful little restaurant that was much beloved for his many dishes and the lack of pretense. It has all changed now. The food is overrated and overpriced for what it could be, having gone DOWN HILL since its' inception years ago. I won't go back for several reasons, mostly because of the menu and terrible waiter. Oh, and it's way overpriced for this kind of treatment. Not enough bang-for-buck 6/10/2002

I love the food but I usually have to go across the street and get a pizza every time I leave there cause' I'm so hungry. Big price-little food. Pros: Great food Cons: Not enough food, Very pricey, Snooty more
