I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my sunroom! I could not be happier! It has added the additional space on my house I so badly needed, and I saved a ton of money by doing a sunroom instead of an addition. Also, its better looking! All the windows allow me a beautiful view of my yard and my neighborhood, it is so beautiful. I've gotten so many compliments, that it was nearly worth it just for bragging rights. Amcon is a great company. They are the best sunroom company in the Bay Area, they have the best guarantee and have been in business the longest. I felt confident in my choice and now that my room has been up several months and I've had the full range of weather, I'm still confident in my choice. The installers were professional and the sales person was absolutely stellar, I loved that it was not high-pressure, the person knew what they were talking about and to be honest, I didn't get that ""sleeze"" vibe! If you're thinking about a sunroom, first of all think Amcon, then DO IT! It is SO worth it! Pros: A fabulous room at a fabulous price! Cons: Did you read the pros? There are none! more

Having been considering a sunroom or room addition for years, we saw Amcon at the Pleasanton home show and were impressed with how excited the person at their booth was about their product. We were called shortly after providing our information and scheduled an appointment that same week. The designer who came out was energized, informative, answered all my questions and showed such a passion for his product that we instantly realized a sunroom would fit our needs the best. Amcon is a reputable company who's been in business for so many years that we were confident and excited to sign on right away. Let me start by saying I love my Amcon sunroom. The company owner is a genuine upstanding person, something that is hard to come by these days. Our designer was very knowledgable and had a great deal of construction background. We had several other companies look at his project and choose to go with Amcon because they actually brought in samples and showed us all the materials used. The designer was on time, and gave a very detailed presentation. Both me and my husband attended the meeting, which I was a little nervous about. I don't like high pressure sales, but the designer gave me a 30 price guarantee. I signed that night, and I'm glad that I did. I had an appointment with another company, and I was very put off by the high pressure sales, extremely high prices (for what I thought was basically the same product) and overall attituce. Since we've had our sunroom put in, I've had no problems! it's been really grea tto work with a construction company that actually does what they say they will do.
