Sunrise Dental Ellensburg

I have had horrible experiences with Dentists, and as a result, I would avoid going, unfortunately that choice caught up with me. Sunrise Dental has given me the courage to face the problems I have needed to address. They preserve your dignity, and treat you with compassion, and understanding, They also work with you every step of the way, financially, and keeping you well informed. \r \r Recently I underwent two root canals, performed by Dr. Elprin. He has a way of making a root canal seem like a simple filling, and the only pain I felt was the first needle stick to numb up, after that, it was smooth sailing. The whole procedure took about an hour. What really impressed me though, is when i got there, i realized i had forgotten my ear buds, I had been planning on listening to Loreena Mckinnett, her voice calms and soothes me. Anyway, when the dental assistant saw my dissapointment, she insisted on playing it through Pandora for me. Its the kinda music that could put you to sleep, but the whole staff willingly sacrificed there upbeat playlist, so i could be relaxed, actually everyone seemed to enjoyed it, even Dr. Elprin. They really go out of there way to make you comfortable! \r \r I have been going to Sunrise Dental since back in 2012, the longest ive ever stayed with any Dental practice, and for ME, thats HUGE!! \r \r Give them a chance to serve you, I gaurantee, you will be pleased!! more

Great environment. Welcoming feeling upon arrival and felt really informed throughout the whole visit. The visit went well, there had very a modern office with sleek design. The only downside to the whole appointment was how long the x-rays of my teeth took. Other then that it went wonderful and they have awesome perks to getting your dental work done there. more

Horrible!! Liars that are after your money!! I had recently moved to Ellensburg from Spokane and had to find a new dentist. I decided to go to Sunrise Dental, the person who took the X-rays didn't seem to know what she was doing & kept taking the same X-rays over because she wasn't getting it right. Then saw the hygienist who told me should could tell I flossed & that my teeth looked very good. I then saw Dr Igor Elperin who was not polite at all. He looked over my teeth & informed me I had 10 cavities. I was in absolute shock, I hadn't had that many cavities since I was a child when I didn't take care of my teeth. Now I brush and floss after every meal, I told Dr Elperin I was in shock. He told me the reason I probably had a lot was because where I live I have well water so there isn't any fluoride in it. I informed him Spokane didn't either & he argued w/ me that all larger cities have it. After the appt was over I had the office email me the X-rays sunrise dental took. I called my dentist in Spokane that I've had for several years and fully trust, to make a appointment for a 2nd opinion, I faxed them the X-rays from sunrise dental. Then drove 3 hrs to see them, they looked over my X-rays even did new 1's, looked in my mouth thoroughly and found only 1 cavity. Sunrise Dental & Dr Elperin just want to make money. Never ever go there anyone!! more

This was my first visit to this dentist. I go to the college here and needed to have my teeth checked. I was very impressed by how friendly and caring the staff were. I had some problem with discount and insurance stuff, but the staff were really caring and literally called all the numbers available to figure things out. Free whitening tools and a electric toothbrush was also nice. They make you feel very welcomed at Sunrise dental that you will want to go back there. more
