I took my daughter here to have a mole removed. Even though I dropped off the paperwork a week early, we were kept waiting more than 45 minutes.\r \r Weeks later I got a call that I owed $129. Why? They refused to send an itemized bill. I asked for a copy of the biopsy report. Refused and said ""no news is good news"". So I refused to pay. They agreed to send the biopsy report but not a bill. I went through my insurance and found out that the charges were valid (a deductible issue) so I will pay the bill but this isn't how my doctor's office acts. This is a SPA. Go get your massage or facial but they don't have medical procedures in place to treat patients. more

Beautiful Practice! 11/8/2010

Sunflower Dermatology and day spa have a beautiful facility. Dr. Matthys is very personable and makes me comfortable in his office. I love that Jenny applies make up after my skin exam, so I can go back to work with no worries. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family,. more

One of the best! 11/8/2010

Dr. Matthys has been my dermatologist for five years now and discovered my first melanoma. He and his staff were most professional, but also caring and compassionate during this difficult time for me. I see them regularly and feel more like family than a patient. Over the years I've had many friends ask me who my dermatologist is and I send them straight to Dr. Matthys at Sunflower. I always hear back that my friends have the same professional, caring experience I've come to expect from them. more

Top Notch Dermatologist! 11/5/2010

I've gone to Dr. Matthys for several years now. Not only is he great with patients (and kids), he knows his stuff. And then some. He's effective, efficient and has suggested a lot of things in the way of treatments that I hadn't considered. All have been extremely beneficial to the care of my skin. I like the fact that he's congenial, affable and doesn't try to sell you the farm. His staff is always ready and willing to help. And the best part? If I'm ever in a complete bind, he makes a concerted effort to get me in -- no questions asked. I feel lucky I found him ... which was just dumb blind luck five years ago. But glad I did. And you will be too! more
