Stay away from this company. Jake is terrible at returning phone calls and following through with what he promises. Don't let his price fool you. Go and spend a little more at a more reliable company. He does terrible work then claims he is too busy to come fix any problems. He has screwed over so many customers! Don't make the same mistake we did! more

This company is a total joke. The owner Jake is a bigger joke. If you want to spend a ton of money to have your deck not hold up 1.5 years later and then have Jake never call you back to come fix it use them. I used them because my neighbor used them for his pool in the Northern suburbs. We both had the same exact experience. This company is a total scam. Stay very far away!!! more

Terrible Customer Service 1/29/2012

He would never return any of the calls. After 6 or 7 seven attempts we gave up. I could not recommend them to anyone who cares about customer service especially after the sale. Love my new patio!!! 6/15/2011

We had our front porch and walkway done by Sundek about 6 years ago. It still looks amazing and we get sooo many compliments on it! We had such a good experience that we called our salesman, Jake, back when we decided to redo our back patio this summer. Jake called us back promptly, came out to look at what we had and talk about what we had in mind, and we are sooo happy with our new patio now that it's finished! We love it and couldn't be happier with our total experience. Call them! A++++ more

Don't bother 5/26/2011

We had them resurface our pool deck about five years ago and they did a great job. I noticed a few spots that chipped this fall and called Jake in September. He never returned my call. I have called twice this past month and he did not return my call. When I asked the reception Joyce why calls are not returned, she replied they are very busy. My response to her was if I ran my business like they run theirs, I would be out of business. more

OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND PRODUCT! 11/23/2010

I'm not sure about the previous reviews, but we had FIRST CLASS service with Sundek of Illinois. The sales guy, Jake, returned all of our phone calls in a timely manner, and came out to see us within a few days of our initial call. The product is A+ and so was the service. The workers were profiessional and diligent in applying the product. Every person that comes over to our house compliments us on our walkways and our back porch. Everyone LOVES it and they ask where we got the product. Ignore the poor reviews and see for yourself! more

My experience was first class!!! 11/24/2009

Saw the reviews, but did my own homework by talking to actual customers...everyone raved about their work and attention to detail...and they were right! The workmanship is extraordinary and I recommend them for any decorative concrete coating you need. I've referred them to my neighbors as well...great job! Pros: DELIVER as promised more

We didn't see the reviews until after we book the appt. Jake was very diligent about calling us back initially which is why, for the life of me, I can't understand why he didn't show up, didn't call, NOTHING...We had every intention of confronting Jake on what we read on the internet but alas, we were not given the opportunity due to his inability to keep an appointment! HORRIBLE customer service 4/17/2009

I met Jake at a Home Improvement show and called the office on a Monday to see when I could get him out for an estimate. He returned my call and proposed a few days as to when he could come out. I then called him back on THREE different occasions to confirm an appointment. He NEVER returned my call and obviously never came to give me an estimate. I wrote a letter to Sundek of Illinois as well as the Corporate office. They never responded to my letter. This is a HORRIBLE company!! Do NOT do business with them!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! 9/13/2006

Made appointment with Jake from Sundek. He cancelled appt. one hour before scheduled arrival time. I made another appointment. He did not come and did not call. I called the company the next day and he hung up the phone on me. I would not do business with a company who treats their potential cutomers like this. Pros: None Cons: Not reliable more
