Sun Valley!! 10/10/2012

My puppy is bad. Just kidding... I guess I am the bad one beacuse I left the chocolate where he thought it was for him. I knew that chocolate was bad for pets but I did not know how bad. I immediately called my vet Dr. Hughes at Sun Valley Regional Animal Hospital. I was told that Rocky should be brought in right away. When we got there they got to work on him right away and made him vomit up most of the chocolate then kept him there for the remainder for the day on fluids to flush out his system. I am so thankful for the promptness and compassion I was given there and I know I will never take Rocky to any other vet. Thank you to Dr. Hughes and all the staff at Sun Valley Regional Animal Hospital!! more

Dr. Hughes Saved My Cats Life 6/28/2011

My cat Mickey had been throwing up persistently for 3 straight days and having constant diarrhea. Later today her diarrhea turned into bloody stool. She was already noticeably dehydrated and lethargic. We took Mickey today to this hospital where I have brought my other pets before to visit Dr. Yohler but I found he had retired. Instead my cat received equal or even better treatment from Dr. Hughes. She treated my cat with care and made sure she had everything she needed to recover. I have brought Mickey before to a low cost veterinary clinic in concord called Alpine Veterinary Hospital. The cost of the visit and exams were actually less than the so called "" low cost"" clinic. This is definitely the place to bring your pet in an emergency situation. Thank you Dr. Hughes more
