Sun Tint is top notch. The staff are knowledgeable on their products and we're able to answer my questions. They use the latest materials and these products are of high quality. I had all the windows tinted, and had them install the clear bra on the front end including the mirrors on my Porsche. This installation takes a lot of skill and experience to get it just right. They did a fabulous job at a fair price. Highly recommend them. more

Top Notch Service - especially post-sale 10/14/2011

Excellent work. Maybe not the cheapest place but they do quality work. But what sets this place apart from other companies is their post-sale support. They stand by their work and will gladly fix any issues...no questions asked. Which is precisely the reason why I've used these guys for 4 different tint/clear bra projects. more

Best Tint Shop in Austin 6/2/2011

Recommended by an enthusiast automotive forum, I stopped in without an appointment to see their work. Heather was happy to take me to the garage where they were working on high-end cars (BMW 7-series, Maserati Gran Turismo) with caution and precision, so I was sold. Brought my car in the next day and it was done in about 3 hours. The job normally would have taken 2 hours, but they actually re-did a window after seeing dirt specks when it dried. I was glad they took that extra time to ensure a quality job. I got Solargard 30 Ceramic on all windows except the windshield and have been really pleased at how well it reflects heat in the Texas summer. Price was totally reasonable as well. I highly recommend Sun Tint. more

Worth the money 5/2/2011

This is my second experience with this local Austin company and yet again they havn't let me down. I was able to schedule my appointment quite comfortably over phone on Friday . I arrived at the rite time on Saturday afternoon, and , front desk attendant (Believe its Heather) was able to explain clearly the different qualities and price ranges of the films they had. More over she was kind enough to give the 20$ discount , even though it was expired. So far the windows on my Mazda3 looks really nice and there no bubbles. Their work is absolutely professional . Austinites , go local !!! more

All-around great, worthy of praise 4/13/2011

I'm impressed with the quality of the tint and even moreso, the service. Everyone in the showroom was polite and helpful. Since my main concern was heat, I went with the ceramic tint. It's not cheap, but it is noticeably effective. Now I can actually touch the steering wheel when I get in the car on a scorching Texas day. I was concerned about finding a good tint place when I moved here from Wisconsin last August and read the good reviews, so I went here. I'm very glad I did. They did a good job on my wife's Corolla and my '92 Oldsmobile, even calling after a week or so to make sure I was satisfied... so I recently returned to get my ""new"" '04 Ram tinted. They thanked me for the repeat business and now I'm riding cooler with another ceramic tint. I recommend Sun Tint to anyone who wants a good tint job with great service. more

Worst experience ever! 2/20/2011

I have to say this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced!!! I called last week to make an appointment and said that I would be available during the weekend and on Monday. I was told by a lady called Heather that Sunday at 10am would be the best time. Then I got a call from Heather on Saturday to reschedule the appointment to 1pm on Sunday. And we even said ""see you tomorrow""! When I arrived on Sunday, the door was closed! I called again on Monday and asked what happened. It was a guy who claimed to be a manager, and told me that he had no idea what happened since Heather was not in. And right now they could not propose any solution since they believe it was a miscommunication!!! I am really disappointed by their service and their way to handle problems. Won't recommend them to anyone! more

Best window tinting in Austin 2/20/2011

This is the best place in Austin to get your car windows tinted. I've had five cars done there since 1995 and each job has been done excellently and with professionalism. There has not been any problem with the tint. No fading, bubbling or cracking. The cars all look great. The staff is courteous and very professional and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Sun Tint. more

Only place to get a clear bra 12/21/2010

So long story short we needed a clear bra put on the X5 M in Houston where we live and after 3 failed attempts by BMW's third party body shop, Momentum collision, we went to Austin. My husband had his Porche done here a couple years earlier and they did such an exceptional job of wrapping the hood and bumper, he went back for seconds. They also stood out in service in the past as well honoring their work and fixing anything that did not meet our expectations. Dust particles and bubbles were taken out upon request even after driving out the garage. The owner Russell really made a great investment in the laser machine to pre cut the clear bra, everything fit perfectly and there was no risk of razor cuts unlike in Houston (4th largest city) that free hands the cuts. The service was quick and workmanship was superb. I'd go back for every car I have in the future. They wrap the clear bra under the hood and cover as much as possible and all areas where debris would damage. So if you love your car and are meticulous this is the place to go for not only great quality of workmanship but service as well. more

I just bought a Honda S2000 and when my wallet recovers a bit, I will be bringing it there for tint. I'm very happy with the window tinting that Sun Tint put on my car. Service was fantastic -- they took the time to explain my options. The work was finished on time, in about 2 hours. Most importantly, my car looks fantastic with the new tint. more

The Place To Go For A Clear Bra!!!!!!! 9/28/2010

Need a clear bra on your car? Do not go anywhere but Sun Tint. The work that they did on my M3 was fantastic. I had a clear bra on before but that install was not installed very well at all. Sun Tint went took off the old clear bra and installed the clear bra they sell. I was just blown away on how clean the install was. Sun Tint's customer service was the best I have experienced from a tint shop. They now have a customer for life!!!!!! more

Its just a great place 3/18/2010

I drove from south austin all the way up here just to get my windows tinted and it was way worth it. They are very friendly and greeted us with smiles as soon as we walked through the door. We were just a walk in with no appt, and they had us done in under 30 mins while we waited they offered us everything to make us comfertable and I love dogs and they had a shop pet a very large very friendly lab just sitting there soaking up any love you had to offer...I would recommend this place in a heart beat!!! My 2010 Mazda 3 looks great. more
