NOW UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP 8/18/2011

ATTENTION: As of 8/15/2011 we, the OLD owners, have taken back the Sun Burst Inn property from the British couple that have been getting such bad reviews. We hope that everyone will look at older reviews from before they took over in 6/2009 and give us a chance again. We are once again PET & FAMILY FRIENDLY! Hope to hear from you! Horrible, Just Horrible.""We will Never go back!"" 4/26/2010

We have been vacationing at the SunBurst Inn for many years now and had always had a positive experience with clean rooms and friendly personable staff. ""Until Now"" with the new owners Frank and Kim"" who have taken over, We never had a complaint. \r \r Both Frank and Kim are as Nasty as could be. They took our money then treated us terrible as if we were \r bad children and we are in our 60's. \r \r They are snooty, snubby people who are truly unfriendly and unwelcoming to the many locals. \r \r Shockingly they sure let us know they dont like any of the former owners customers, or the former owner for that matter and will be doing away with all the former repeats. \r \r We loved staying at the Sunburst when the other owner John was running the hotel, He was personable, friendly and laid back, the hotel was cleaned and \r decorated comfortably, And we were not intruded upon and ordered around every day of our stay.\r \r These New owners made us feel very uncomfortable and ruined our vacation. It was not worth the Stay.\r \r We are going to vacation at the Waterview on Indian Rocks Beach next year. Plenty of privacy. Our trip is already booked :) . Most disgusting place ever! 10/14/2009

Couldn't pay me to stay there! I left as soon as soon as i got there, I couldn't make myself stay in that place with those horrible people! Pros: Beautiful location Cons: Rudest owners and disgusting rooms! more

Walking on EggShells, not seashells ""UNFRIENDLY"" 9/24/2009

""This hotel offers unacceptable treatment towards the PAYING public.""\r We were greeted and treated in an UNWELCOMING, UNFRIELDLY, INTIMIDATING and INVASIVE manner by the new owners ""Frank and Kim"". With thier long lists of rules and regulations, invasive nature and arrogant comments, it was difficult to feel comfortable at all let alone while lounging out of your room as the ""Mr.Owner"" would be staring and lurching as if trying to catch you doing something wrong. He was quite creepy. Our $500.00 Plus weekend getaway was intended to be a relaxing, enjoyable beach excursion. BUT For the high price we paid we could have found better along the gulf. This excursion was quite the opposit of relaxing and enjoyable ""Thanks"" to the new owners ""Frank and Kim"". I left this hotel feeling very upset and unwelcomed, The new owners constantly made us feel as if we were doing something wrong on thier property. Quite frankly after the way we were treated by the owners We feel ripped off. Pros: One of the many Beautiful Beaches all along the Gulf Cons: Americans UnWelcomed,Too Many Rules, Owners are CREEPS more
