Good: I like their specialty entrees, and I appreciate that they have smaller entrees if you do not want to eat a lot. I like their confectionaries.. Bad: I wish their hours were longer, because sometimes we don't make it on time.. Improvements: As above - longer hours, especially on Sunday - only open till three.. more

review of sugar cookies only 5/22/2006

i'm going to be honest here - i've never ate a real meal at this place but i have had their HUGE sugar cookies several times (which is crazy because i don't even like cookies) --- anyways, there is a summer kitchen right by where i used to work and people would bring them in to treat us and WOW they are fabulous!! they are huge and have the best frosting...darn i'm getting hungry!! more

Summer Kitchen Cafe 4/17/2006

We always enjoyed the Garden Cafe and the Summer Kitchen Cafe is an extension of that extinct restaurant but they have branched out and expanded their menu beyond the old Garden Cafe meals. The Summer Cafe has great bakery items that I love to pick up on the way to work or a friend's house. They menu has delicious items for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is friendly and casual and great to sit around and chat with friends. Coffee is plentiful and rich and dark. Great place for kids also. more

Summer Kitchen Cafe 4/12/2006

Great restaurant to take the family and out of town relatives. A down to earth restaurant that has a great variety on their menu. I especially like the potato casseroles they have. In fact I order one almost that I go there. They have a wide selection of muffins and other bakery goods. It is similar to Village Inn without the headache and a more hometown feel. more
