Since my Labradoodle is now able to be entered into AKC shows, I need a trainer to get her ready. I am so glad I found Sue Conklin's The Puppy Nanny. It is a happy place and Zoe has flourished there. I have wanted to do something fun with my dog, a Whippet, a sight hound, they don't like to do anything but run! I started a Rally Obedience class with Sue, and have continued and am getting ready for our first competition. Ash has done wonderfully because her training is all about positive reinforcement, and making the dog think for itself. I never would have thought we could do this, but Sue has helped both of us get a good communication going and we will be successful. There is nothing better then a happy dog doing something it really likes to do. I plan on continuing with other venues such as Scent Dog and the new dog evaluation that is just coming on board. I may even get brave enough to continue in Rally Advanced in the future! more
