To the young lady who wrote about being harassed at Sudsville. I have gone to Sudsville many times and have never encountered any problems. However, there is no security so I can understand why you might feel unsafe. I am perplexed because you mention your race as well as the person who harassed you, as if it matters. Perhaps you mentioned his race thinking others may encounter him as well therefore they should be on guard. However, you stated he was an older black male and in these days and times I'm sure that some individuals who have read your post may see a black man in Sudsville and immediately be fearful. That is unfortunate. If you ever feel unsafe, regardless of the color of the person you are afraid of, dial 911. Make a complaint to the police. It is better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully that will be enough for them to patrol the area and the laundry mat. Any woman (regardless of race) should always be aware of her surroundings especially in establishments that are at times somewhat deserted. My advice is either carry mace, bring a friend, file a formal complaint (with the police) since you cannot get in contact with the owners or just not go to that Sudsville.
