I have been a loyal customer for the last 10 years to Suds City and after tonight I am never going there again. I arrived back at the laudromat at 7:56pm to find the worker standing outside with her own laundry, I said ""you already locked up for tonight?"" and didn't respond and walked to the vehicle that was picking her up....seriously I know it sux that I showed up right at closing but who closes before close when I left at 7pm saying be back in 1 hr and she didn't say anything about make sure ur back at 745p...... I was going to write a letter, but my friend owns a buisness nearby who informed me she was the owner, well lady you lost my buisness (about $1,000 a year worth) and considering I go there from Dorchester you could have let me in to get my clothes (all my clothes mind you that I own) that now I can't get until Tuesday because 2morra she is closing early (I work as a nurse not during her hours) and Sunday and Monday is closed for the holiday. I really hope my whole wardrobe isn't lost!!! I don't recommend it to anyone anymore!!! -A more

I have been using Suds City for delivery for two years. They are great. I can call morning/day of for a pick up and drop off within the next day. The laundry is clean, well done and not dried on high heat (so it doesnt come back shrunken). I actually tried another service a friend recommended - and it was so sub-par compared to Suds City I had to re-wash my laundry and they lost an item. I switched back to Suds CIty immediately!!! I brought eight collared shirts there to be washed and pressed. I have been back twice since and they cannot find them. The woman who has been there when I go always seems to be waiting for her boss and can not give me much information. I have called and left messages and no one has called me back. Overall, I wouldn't take the risk. I'm out about $500 right now and it doesn't seem like they care very much. Cons: Lose shirts, Don't pick up or return phone calls more

Everyone said Suds City was the place to take laundry in Southie, but my experience with them has been mixed. On the positive side, they seem to always get everything very clean and nicely folded. I have had several problems though: 1) There have been issues with being open on time and I have ended up waiting outside the store with bags of laundry at least twice over the past couple months (once they were 10 minutes late, once they were 45 MINUTES LATE), 2) They forgot to deliver my laundry for no obvious reason the last time I took stuff there, 3) After specifically asking me to separate delicates they keep not returning my delicate wash bags to me and the woman who works at night refuses to look for them (the woman there during the day has retrieved them for me twice). I have been getting my laundry and dry cleaning done there for about a year now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I always get my stuff back on time and the presentation is consistant to a fault. My laundry is folded the same professional way every time. I found the staff to be very friendly and courtious. I hate doing laundry and thanks to them I don't worry about it anymore. They pick it up and drop it off. I have a very busy schedule that dosen't always allow me the free time I need to take care of stuff like my laundry. Now I don't even think about it I just call them. I love how they will come and pick up your dry cleaning and drop it off in a timely manner. My clothes always come back perfect and the price is very inexpensive. They also come out and tailor suits at your house! Great place to have handle your clothes. Pros: Delivery and price more
