Dr. sudbrink is honestly the best oral surgeon (or dentist of any kind) that I have ever been to. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and takes the time to explain everything he sees and everything he is going to do. He is incredibly respectful and understanding of ""surgery phobia"" so to speak and does everything possible to ensure that you are as comfortable every step of the way during procedures. they even call the evening you've had a procedure to check up and make sure everything is OK. I wish I could go to Dr. sudbrink for all of my dental needs, or really all of my health needs in general, because he is just so darn amazing! An added plus is that the rest of the staff are incredible as well. more

This office is AMAZING!! My 5 year old daughter recently needed to have a baby tooth pulled and I was devastated. As a mom, I was worried about her feeling pain or being traumatized. Their nursing staff was wonderful with her and the doctor did everything he could to make her feel comfortable. He actually TALKED TO HER!! The procedure went very smooth and had no problems. To top it all off, they participate with my insurance and handled all the billing process for me so I could focus on my daughter. I highly recommend this office!! more

I just got my wisdom teeth removed the other day from here and I really liked this place. I was nervous but the nurses there were really cool (cute male nurses too). Dr. S did my removal and it was done in like 30 mins. I was scheduled at 10 in the morning but didn't get back until like 1045. They explained to me that its because they never make patients leave before they are ready to go so it made me feel bad I had complained about the wait : / I was one of the people who needed more time after I woke up and was a little sick to my stomach after the medications so they let me stay in a recovery room until I was feeling good again. I would come here again if I needed any more oral surgery, they are nice people. <3 Jess more

I never write reviews but this place is great and definitely deserves the 5 star rating that they have. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed last week. Dr. sudbrink was amazing. Not only was he extremely nice and made me feel super comfortable about the procedure, he also gave me a special gel for pain and fast healing. I just had my third wisdom tooth pulled earlier this week! I made my appointment on Friday for Tuesday. I saw Dr. Sudbrink again was treated very well. Tuesday, I was in and out. The procedure only took about 45 minutes and they gave me anesthesia. Then i was good to go. I am now at home, relaxing(and enjoying) the prescribed meds...a little soreness but that's to be expected. the gel they gave me helps a lot. I still have one more tooth that will probably need to be removed and when that time comes... will definitely be coming back! I would recommend this office and Dr. Sudbrink to anyone! more

Dr. Vakkas was wonderful! The office staff is terrible... They consistently code procedures wrong to insurance. They are rude and inconsiderate. There was even a time when all the office staff was replaced at once... What does that tell you.. I am sorry to say that I will never use and will discourage everyone from using them... more

Drs sudbrink and vakkasl, i love you. after reading all the great reviews on yelp, i thought they might just be the guys to consult in about the removal of my four wisdom teeth. since i just moved here to from chicago with my husband, i was kinda dazed and confused on where to go and who to see about this surgery which i've been putting off for years. i am the baby of all babies. anything with teeth freaks me out. i am not kidding you, before this experience, i was PETRIFIED of the thought of having to be put under. we are talking bad dreams, cold sweats, mental breakdowns, sleepless nights, you name it.... i did not want these things to be out. sudbrink oral surgery was a eye opening experience for me. after booking my consultation appointment, i was put at ease about all these fears of mine involving being put under for my first surgery involving anesthesia. this office is no joke, VERY professional and dr. sudbrink is renown in his field! my husband and i both agreed that this would be the place i would go for the removal. the day of my surgery (yesterday) i was extremely nervous. i was up all night anxious and not knowing what to expect about being put under for the first time. when we arrived at the office, after filling out some paperwork, i was immediately called in to get this thing over with. this is when i really started freaking out. what was going to happen!? i looked around and all i can say is this place is very clean and sharp yet very relaxing and almost tranquil at the same time. they were going to be playing me some sort of music to calm my nerves. this was another plus in my book. i closed my eyes to try to relax. the assistant hooked me up to some heart monitor sort of thing, and she started the laughing gas. (i've never had this either) dr. sudbrink came in, reassured me everything was going to be okay. popped the needle in my arm and after that i don't remember a thing. 25 minutes later....(only 25 minutes?!) i woke up and it's like nothing ever happened. trippy. my husband surprisingly didn't try to film me like david at the dentist but i was feeling good. my mouth was numb and i was in a different world. i look back and think why was i being such a baby about this procedure? it was so simple and in my eyes the best dental surgery experience i have experienced. and i still haven't really felt any major pain. dr. sudbrink even gave my husband and i a call later on to make sure everything was going smoothly. thought this was a nice touch to his professionalism. thank you dr. sudbrink for making this such a great experience! i would highly recommend you and your staff to anyone looking for an amazing wisdom teeth removal experience more

Great doctor, extremely rude receptionist in Ephrata 9/23/2011

Dr. Sudbrink removed my daughter's wisdom teeth and did some other work in preparation for her to get braces. He was professional, friendly and provided helpful information that ended up saving us a lot of money on un-needed braces. A+ for Dr. Sudbrink. However, his receptionist at the Ephrata Office was so rude, discourteous and incapable of listening that I will never go back to that particular office. It was without a doubt one of the worst customer services experiences I've ever had at a professional office or anywhere else. F for her. more
