I can tell you as the former General Manager of this company that Suburban Scapes is a failing company that cuts corners and never gives their customers what they pay for. I am not a disgruntled employee, I quit out of disgust and embarrasment, once i saw this repetitive behavior. I'm just sick of seeing this guy get away with robbing people blind. Suburban Scapes dont know the meaning of the word warranty or guarantee. He will promise you the world and then take your money and run. I've personally seen him take customers deposits and never start the job, or start the job and do just enough to collect a second or third deposit and never return to the job, or just walk away from a job when the customer calls him out on using a cheaper material then they paid for. He has over 30 judgments against him and his company in bucks county alone and a BBB rating of F. When i worked there (2009-2010) no suppliers in the area would even sell to him because he owed them so much money and screwed them over ( shady brook farm $20,000, Trenton Block $40,000, and Yardville Supply 55,000) When I worked there he would send me to NJ to get pavers and the Pocono's to get stone veneers because they were the closest suppliers to bucks county that were gullable enough to sell to him and let him set up an account. I know this guy is hurting for work and if you call him for an estimate he'll probably give you a really good price for the work you want done, but remember what i said earlier. If he doesnt just take your deposit check and run, you'll end up spending thousands of dollars getting your job repaired in a year or two. He will never honor a ""warranty"" and he never uses the proper materials so your plants will die, and your patios, and walls will sink. I hope I steered some of you away from this company. As far as the chimney aspect goes for this company forget about it. He preys on people that dont know anything about chimney's and how they work, he just tells you that everything has to be replaced and you dont know enough to question his analysis. He'll tell you that you need a new liner for $1500.00 when you only need a sweep for $200.00. I've seen it a hundred times.
