I first read about the Stumbling Goat in the Seattle Weekly, and they loved it for its truly "Northwest" style of cuisine--local ingrededients, simply and perfectly employed, and in creative combinations. The menu is small--about 10 dishes total, and all of them a little work of art. The decure is sparse and tasteful, like the food, and the waitstaff was knowledgeable about the food, wine and beer they sell. Very Seattle without being trendy.
