CC & Stephanie the are best team for your hair CC is the best col.orist I have ever had she never makes your hair look anything but totally natural and fablous. They always make me feel really relaxed and special. Stephanies hair cuts keep getting better each time i have her cut it,and it has only been a year since i have going to this salon. I usually get my hair done for a special event or a vacation you never know but my npicture could end up in one of the soap magazines because I usually get it done before one the evenmts. Addicted to hair extensions,I have been to many salons in the Metro area. I was referred to Studio Z by a friend. The salon is gorgeous and the atmosphere welcoming. After a lengthy consultation with owner/operator Christine, she gave me extensions that were right on color wise, in less time, for the best price, without all the pulling and tugging torture plus none have fallen out.I was also impressed with the complete Aveda line as well as the coolest little in store boutique where I purchased a great rhinestone belt and earrings. Everyone there is a true professional....from Stephanie at reception (I'm always calling at the last minute!!!) to Suzanne (the best colorist in the world) to the shampoo guys & girls...and Fabiola - Manicurist & Facial Specialist to the stars!!....and of course - they sell Aveda products. I have known CC for quite a long time and I cant imagine anyone saying anything negative about her. She is probably the most honest person anyone can ever meet. Just walk into Sudio Z and you'll see for yourself. If your in the Queens area, I highly recommend her if you want a great colorist. I love the way she treats me everytime I step into the Salon. She has never let me down, as a hairdresser and an honest, gentle human soul. By the way, I really think she's way too busy to write her own reviews. She has too many people who need their hair done everyday. I really believe theres no room for dishonesty in her life. I take personal offense for anyone to accuse CC of dishonesty. Carolyn, who is my colorist at Studio Z, is by far one of the best hairdressers I have ever come in contact with. Since the first time she colored my hair many years ago, I knew that this girl was to be my hairdresser for as long as she can tolerate me. I love her talent, her creativity and of course her incredible upbeat personality. Anyone who does not know Carolyn,needs to meet her at Studio Z. Even if its not time to get your hair done yet just drop in, meet her and you'll see what I mean. I have sent all my friends and family to her. I have much confidence in her. About 3 years ago, I found CC in another salon, and she guided me through the process of getting ""just the right"" shade for me (I wanted ""Jennifer Aniston"" color, and although CC warned me that it was not the right color for me, after I insisted, she imitated it EXACTLY). I soon realized that it was, in fact, not the right shade for me. I then put myself (and my hair color) in her ""color-perfect hands"", and she guided me to just-the-right-shade (or should I say shades - one for summer and one for winter). Time and time again top stylists in the city ask me who did my color. I have been following C.C. my colorist for over 4 years now. C.C. gained my trust after a truly bad coloring experience. She is warm and friendly and her years of experience shine through. I've been looking for a good Queens salon for years now, and they've all been so cookie cutter and blah. Little did I know that right under my nose, was one of the best salon experiences just waiting to happen. Studio Z has a talented, friendly staff and the prices are very reasonable.
