Best Studio in Vegas 5/30/2011

My daughter has danced for two years on team with Summerlin Dance Academy. SDA is her second home/family. Kevin Leon, Samantha Hunt, Suzan Baucum and Kathy Downey have not only helped my daughter learn amazing dance technique but have also taught her values such as respect, dedication, and team work. She has grown as a person as much as she has a dancer. SDA is like a family who love and support one another. You won't find a better studio in Las Vegas or beyond. more

A Great Experience 5/30/2011

I have years of experience with dance schools since the 70's either with taking classes or enrolling my daughters. They have all been good, but Summerlin stands out for many reasons. First off, they offer so many types of dance classes that most studios don't have. The Contemporary and Broadway class caught my girls eye and they love it! They also offer various levels, even competitive if you want to go that route. They make it easy to schedule classes to fit around your daily life routines. The teachers are all very approachable and genuinely care about their students. It takes a strong passion to make a great teacher. With this being said, it has been more than a positive experience. Give it a try, as they let you try classes to see if it works for you! more

Summerlin Dance Academy is the best!! 5/29/2011

I am a sophomore at Palo Verde High School and have been dancing my whole life. This is my first year at Summerlin Dance Academy and I love it there. I take the advanced hip-hop class on Monday nights. The first day I came in I was nervous that I wouldn't fit in because I came right after Winter Break. I walk in the door and the front desk lady greeted me with a big smile on her face. She then introduced me to people in my class and I noticed that I knew people. Everyone greeted me with smiles and hellos made sure that I wasn't left out in the class. I stayed in the back for most of the class but our teacher, Ms. Stacey, made me come to the front a couple times and everyone told me how good I was doing. I have gone to many dance studios all over Las Vegas but no dance studio has been as great as Summerlin Dance Academy. All the students there inspire me to become a better dancer with their dedication and all the hard work they put into their dancing. I am very excited to be dancing in this years recital in June. I know that this year's recital is going to be more than amazing. I strongly recommend this dance studio, because there is a class that will bring out the dancer in everyone! more

# 1 Dance Studio in Nevada 5/28/2011

I have lived in the Summerlin / Desert Shores area for 20 years, raising three daughters. We have danced at community schools and dance studios over the years. My youngest daughter will be graduating this year from LVA High School as a dance major. The last two years have been amazing, we moved to Summerlin Dance Academy for competition team dancing. Having competited previous years, Summerlins presence at competitions was amazing, their performence speaks for itself, always at the top. The studio offers workshops and Choreographers from studios across the country. This would explain why the are ranked # 1 in the state of Nevada. more

You can't go wrong with SDA! 5/28/2011

My 3 year old daughter is getting ready to participate in her second recital at SDA. The teachers and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Over the past 2 years she has learned fundamentals of tap and ballet while still having a lot of fun. She has made so many new friends and so have I. We look forward to dance every week. With the many different style of dance they teach and the different days and times. You just can?t go wrong with SDA! more

Great studio with great teachers! 5/28/2011

I joined Summerlin Dance Academy two years ago. When i first walked in i was a little nervous but the front desk ladies greeted me and helped me find my class. All of the teachers have a lot of experience. Im always excited for class! I recommend this studio to anyone! more

Summerlin Dance Academy 5/28/2011

This is my daughter's first year taking 3-4 ballet/tap with Ms Edie. She loves the school, the kids and especially her teacher. I love that there are so many days and times to choose from for each class. We live in Centennial Hills and there are a few schools closer but none that have the great reputation of Summerlin Dance Academy. I hope to start my son in the hip hop classes offered next year also. more

Best Dance Studio! 5/27/2011

I just joined Summerlin Dance Academy 2 years ago and it was definitely a good decision. My tap teacher, Jeremy is an amazing teacher, and I learn something new every week! I feel like I have improved greatly since joining his class. My Broadway Bound teacher, Michael is also fantastic and his class is so fun! Both of my teachers are very knowledgable in their fields! I always look forward to my classes every week and I am extremely happy with this studio. I plan to stay with them for a very long time! more

Great dance studio with teachers that care! 5/13/2011

I've taken my daughter to Summerlin Dance for two years now and she loves it. The desk workers are very nice and teachers are great. You can tell this is the studio to go to by the number of kids I see there all the time. more
