I have been going to see Cynthia at H2O for almost a year now. She is the only stylist I let near my hair. She has always done a wonderful job. The atmosphere at the salon is very relaxing and pleasant. more

MOST UNPLEASANT SALON EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! The 'stylist' acted bored when I explained the cut I wanted, took the cut in a completely different direction and when I tried to re-explain what I actually wanted she made rude, condescending comments and changed nothing. It actually reached a point of discomfort where I felt I need to walk out, walk out with a terrible, half-done haircut! The salon must have a poor reputation because at 5pm on a Friday there were enough other stylists standing around to gather at the counter and watch. When I contacted the owner that day to explain the situation, I asked him to fix it or refund the cost of the appointment. He did nothing. This is absolutely not a salon I would waste my time on, unless you have the time and funds to get it repaired the next day. I have no understanding what the situation was with the 'stylist' to justify her behavior, but a business that puts NO value in customer satisfaction is pathetic. more

My wife LOVES this place. Its nice for her to go, and I get some good time on the couch for football when she's there! more

I have been going to H20 since I moved here from NY two years ago and LOVE IT !! I was worried that I would not be able to find a place that can do Asian hair like my guy in NY until I stumbled upon Thida and everyone at H20 !! I have NEVER had a bad experience there with my haircuts or mani/pedis. Thida always recommends what color/cut/style I should get and it comes out beautiful everytime !! She also gave me a great 80's hairstyle for a party I was going to. It was awesome! Everyone there are always friendly and fun! I have recommended numerous friends/colleagues from NY to H2O and all enjoyed the experience there and love their haircuts! more

I ALWAYS enjoy my experience at Studio H20. I have known Tuan, Thida, Lyn for approximately 10 years. They have given my husband, my children, my friends (whom I recommend and still going there) as well as myself haricuts, color, manicure, pedicure, facials, etc. more

I recently moved out to Park City from LA, and was in the midst of adding some length to my hair. I had become pretty concerned with going to stylists as they never understood the phrase ""don't take off any length"" and by in large I can color my hair myself better than a lot of the stylists I had seen at high end salons. I picked H20 because of good reviews and some pictures, asked for one of their best people and showed up to meet Lynn. She did a whole lot of management cutting without loosing much length at all, the color was awesome, very natural with great highlights. Incidentally we also share the same birthday.. had to be a good sign right? Anyhow, she is very personable and does a great job. I have just had my second appointment and am equally impressed. The one warning I would give is that Lynn is an exceptional stylist, (I hire stylists for photo shoots and would certainly hire Lynn) so when she makes your hair look amazing, and she will, ask her to teach you how to do it and she is happy too. My hair now looks great with a quick brush, or I can go all magazine looking with the straightening iron thanks to a few minutes of coaching from Lynn. My hair has NEVER looked better, I would have never gone short in the first place if I had found Lynn earlier. I am not sure about local pricing but I am paying half price compared to LA prices for better services. more

I have been going to Thida for the past 8 years and love everything about Studio H2O Salon. After reading a malicious review that has been posted recently, I had to take time to share the wonderful experiences I have had with the hair stylists at Studio H2O Salon. Thida has such great knowledge on many types of hair, hair styles, and hair products. Her skills cutting and styling hair are flawless. She continues to learn new techniques and new ways of styling hair which she shares with me to make me look great. She always listens what I want and gives me wonderful suggestions. She somehow knows what works. I am always impressed at how it turns out. One time my color was lighter than I wanted and she quickly fixed it for free. She is always willing to work with me and she has always been very professional, knowledgeable, caring, fun and simply the best hair stylist. I receive great compliments on my hair cut and color all the time because of the magic she performs on my hair. I drive 40 minutes each way to see her for years and I will continue to do so because she is simply the best. I see the same wonderful traits in all the other stylists at Studio H2O Salon as well. Lynn has cut and colored my hair before and she was fantastic. They are all very educated and their skills are excellent. Tuan used to do my hair before Thida became a hair stylist and I was always impressed at his work too. He can move scissors quickly and skillfully and your hair will be perfectly styled. Once you see how good he is you will know why his appointments are always full. What?s great about Studio H2O Salon is that you can go see any of the stylists and you will be completely happy with the results. I strongly recommend this salon. Thida is one of the nicest and most compassionate people I know. Six months ago I was like many people who wanted to do something for people in Haiti and I decided to have a small fundraiser at work. I was going to cook tons of food and sell lunch/take out dinner to the people at my work and donate all the proceeds to a Haitian charity. I came to get a hair cut 2 days before the fundraiser day and told her how excited and nervous I was because I had never done anything like that before. The first thing she said was ?What can I do to help you? What can I do to contribute to the cause?? She said that she was scheduled to take a day off from work that day, so she could bring some fried rice. The day came and there they were? Thida and Tuan at my work, bringing enough fried rice enough to feed 80 people. I couldn?t believe how generous and compassionate they were. They didn?t do that to impress me. They did it because they cared. Thida and Tuan are not just my hair stylists. I consider them my friends. If you have met them at Studio H2O Salon, you know what I?m talking about. If you have not been to Studio H2O Salon, you should go check it out. You will have an incredible experience. more

This is my kind of salon. The staff is super friendly, the decor is nice but not pretentious, and the services are great. Also it's just easy. They get you in and out in decent time without sacrificing any quality, and there's no ho-hum scene. Cassie is the stylist I go to and I really like the way she cuts and colors my hair. I've tried many places for years now, and it's with Cassie and Studio h2o that I think I can end my search. I now have a hairdresser. Thanks more

I LEARNED ABOUT STUDIO H20 SALON FROM ""GROUPON"". I THEN RESEARCHED THEIR WEB SITE - REVIEWS ...( WHICH I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT AUTHENTICITY - NOW ). I CALLED AND TALKED TO THIADA - THE OWNER AND EXPLAINED THAT MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER WOULD LIKE TO COME IN AND WOULD LIKE HER "" THIADA "" TO CUT AND STYLE OUR HAIR. SHE SAID SHE ALWAYS GIVES A CONSULT AND FINDS OUT WHAT THE CUSTOMER REALLY WANTS BEFORE SHE STARTS HER CUT. SHE SAID I COULD BRING IN PICTURES OF WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR TO HELP HER GET A PICTURE OF WHAT WE WANTED. WE ARRIVED AND WERE TOLD BY THIADA'S HUSBAND ( ALSO SALON OWNER) THAT THIADA HAD GONE HOME SICK... BUT "" LYNN "" WAS AVAILABLE AND ACTUALLY HAD BETTER TRAINING... ( VIDAL SASSON, BUMBLE) ETC. THAN THIADA AND WE WOULD BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED. WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD BECAUSE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO HER EXPERTISE??? LYNN DID NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE CUT MY DAUGHTER WANTED... A SPIKEY MODERN CUT THAT SHE BROUGHT A PICTURE OF ). I SHOWED HER 6 PICTURES OF THE KIND OF LOOK I WANTED - BLUNT CUT WITH LAYERS AND BOUNCY. I ALSO TOLD HER I USE ROLLERS AND NOT A FLAT IRON TO STYLE MY HAIR. WHILE GETTING MY HAIR CUT ONE OF THE OTHER STYLISTS CAME OVER TO LYNN AND SAID THIADA CALLED AND WANTED TO KNOW WHAT TO BRING HER BACK FOR LUNCH AND LYNN SAID ""WHAT EVER SHE WANTED TO PICK UP WOULD BE FINE"" ...MY FEELING WAS THIADA WAS NOT HOME SICK??....MAYBE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DO OUR CUTS FOR LESS THAN FULL PRICE AND PASSED US OFF TO LYNN. LYNN TOTALLY BUTCHERED AND THINNED OUT MY HAIR AND CUT 2"" AND 3"" PIECES UNDERNEATH LONGER PIECES THAT STICK OUT ALL OVER MY HEAD. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN AND LYNN TOLD ME ALL SHE COULD DO IS RETURN OUR MONEY AND GIVE ME CONDITIONING TREATMENTS ( NEITHER ONE HAS BEEN DONE AND LYNN WON'T EVEN RETURN MY CALLS)... I TALKED TO THIADA AND SHE SAID ALL I COULD DO IS LET IT GROW OUT & TOO BAD THAT HAPPENED!! I've been coming to Studio H2O for years now and I have yet to have a bad experience. Everybody there greets you with welcome arms, making sure you are okay and comfortable with your wait by offering you magazines and a comfortable seat! Tuan is always profession and personable, he remembers what I tell him and can pick up where we left off. They're always clean, organized and I trust them with their judgment. I can tell the staff is well educated about their products, styles and what is in fashion at the time. I would recommend ANYBODY of ANY age to Studio H2O! Fabulous, and I wouldnt go anywhere else! more

I have trusted Tuan with my hair for over 10 years. I don't have to tell him what I want, I leave the cut and color to him and always get compliments. My husband sees Elena, she knows how to deal with his many cowlicks - he never looks like he's been run over by a lawn mower. My daughter (10 yrs old) swears by Thida but when she's not available, it's Tuan and no one else. As a family we've been going to Studio H20 for 5 years and won't be changing. The best part of the Studio H20 experience is having your hair washed, honestly...better than sex or anything you can imagine! Don't forget to tip whomever washes your hair, it's amazing! more

Best haircut ever!! I have very thick, difficult hair to work with that nobody really seems to understand and Tuan did an amazing job. Honestly, I'm hesitant to leave a review only because he's in my price range right now but I know as soon as this guy gets more popular and more well known (than he already is) he'll be charging a lot more than he currently does. I'm doing it though out of principle because it's a pet peeve of mine when people do something half-a## and I have a lot of respect for people who really know what they're doing when they charge for a service, and Tuan absolutely 100% does. Studio H2o is just one of those rare treasures that makes you have faith that some people out there have actual talent in what they do. more

Studio H20 Salon is amazing! I just love the vibe and the style. They make me feel right in, when I walk in they acknowledge me immediately. I have curly hair and it's super thick a little lower than shoulder length. It's very frustrating to handle. I went to Studio h20 Salon, and Thida Tran cut my hair. She gave me beautiful layers, made it a lot thiner, easier to take care of. It was nice and soft which a lot of stylist cant give me. I come 2hrs away and its worth it! I don't let anyone else cut my hair. I love my hair now, it's so much easier to handle. more

As anyone with curly or even wavy hair knows, getting a good cut is an extremely iffy thing. I have lived all over the world and tried stylists in Asia, Europe, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean countries, large US cities, and small towns. In my 64 years I have had some good haircuts, but never one I would classify as GREAT until now. And Thiada did it. I came in with a picture - something I do as often I don't speak the local language - and came out with my hair styled way better. Thiada took the picture and adapted it to my fine curly hair as no one has ever done before. The cut is so good, and has held so well, that a month later I can still wake up, kind of ruffle my hair, and walk out confidently to meet the world without even looking at it. There are simply no praises high enough for her talent and insightful and caring attention. And what a pleasure she is as a person. Although I did not interact extensively with the other stylists they all seemed open, interested, and positive, and their work - which I observed closely - looked really good. The salon atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant , the price is very reasonable, and being on Rio Grande St. is an added bonus as is the validated parking. Cannot think of anything more to rave about so will close with a rousing THANK YOU to Thiada and Salon H2O! Pros: Incredibly talented and uniquely personable stylist Cons: None I know of! more

Go to Thiada. She is a godess with a natural talent for unruly hair. I have short, thick horse hair and Thiada was able to tame my mane. We put in a gorgeous red with ""splices"" of Carmel - my husband is in love all over again. She and Tuan have just purchased this and are going t do amazing! My daughter and I were in town over Spring Break for a Girls' Weekend Getaway in SLC from Boise. I have short, very thick hair (for which I am increasingly grateful the older I get), but that has a tendency to look like a helmet when short and a Wild Woman from Borneo look when longer. I was lucky to snag an appointment with Thida (pronounced ""Teeda""). She took one look, pronounced my hair in dire need of texturing and some shaping. And that's just what she did for the next hour. (I told you I have a lot of hair!) Well, aren't I now the sassy-looking mama with hair that actually moves and has some fun style. Instead of looking like my 51 year old self, I'm looking like 40. Ok, 45, but the hair has definitely made a striking difference in my youth-quotient. You know what I'm talking about - - you can move into middle age and still look hip without having to dye your hair blue. Thida did that for me with a perfectly terrific haircut! Thanks, Thida! I was visiting from out of state and I had a convention meeting the next day. I was in desperate need of a haircut and while shopping around at the gateway, I saw Studio H2O Salon. I'm a picky person, and this place looked like it would live up to my expectations. Right when I walked in it was very busy. I was greeted kindly by the receptionist and they take walk-ins very kindly and they didn't turn me away like I thought they would on this busy day. I got my hair cut by Thida. She has such a bubbly personality and her cut was fabulous! She listened very carefully to what I wanted and was attentive to what I needed.
