his is my kind of salon. The staff is super friendly, the decor is nice but not pretentious, and the services are great. Also it's just easy. They get you in and out in decent time without sacrificing any quality, and there's no ho-hum scene. Cassie is the stylist I go to and I really like the way she cuts and colors my hair. I've tried many places for years now, and it's with Cassie and Studio h2o that I think I can end my search. I now have a hairdresser. Thanks more

I just had the Japanese straightening done at Studio H2o by Lien and I love it!! It takes me literally 10 minutes to do my hair. It used to take me 30-40 min. I would wash my hair the night before let it dry through the night and touch it up in the morning with flat iron. My hair has never been that easy. Usually after the blow dry it would look like a lions mane. I have coarse curly hair. Any one who has that knows what I mean. It does take about 3 hrs to do the service, but totally worth it though so be prepared!! more

Yes it's a tad pricy.... Most bad reviews have to do with the price.. I've gone to many cheaper salons and only cheaper by say 20 dollars, well the hair colors at other salons don't come close to the colt I got here. Not only is the color great, the way they mixed the two colors into my hair it came out so amazing. I highly recommend you spend an extra 20$ to get a great color that personally boosted my confidence back up..., isn't that worth it? 10 thumbs up more

I wandered into this salon after reading some reviews on Judy's Book and had probably one of the best salon experiences I've had in a while. My stylist was Thida and she was great. I had highlights and a cut which both turned out amazingly. They use Karastase which are like magic potions for the hair, and my hair feels like silk now (even though I had some colour work done). It is a little pricey, but totally worth it. I would check this place out for sure! more

I've been with this salon for over three years now, ever since I moved to Salt Lake City. I have had consistently excellent results with one minor exception - once I didn't like how dark my low-lights are so I had to get them redone. Easy fix. They keep records on your visit so they can match your colour (nothing new, I know) and they know who your regular stylist are. I once needed an emergency cut (are you seeing a pattern here?) and they fit me in the same day. The price is about average for a salon of this caliber and when you're paying $150 for cut and highlights you want to be sure you're going to have no mistakes. When I was blonde, I had people telling me that it looked natural and they didn't realize it was highlighted until I told them. Cuts are reasonable at about $45-65 depending on the stylist you get. The atmosphere is always bright and pleasant: the people are kind and helpful; they'll talk if you want to talk or say nothing if you just want to read a magezine; they'll make you feel like a star and give you want you want with a touch of what you need. more

I work for an airline and had recently transferred to the Salt Lake area. I've heard great reviews of Studio H2O Salon by associates so I thought I'd give them a try. I was very impressed by the salon alone, it has one of the best decor I've seen. Then the service, oh, the service was wonderful. They greeted me right as I walked through the door, asked whether I'd like something to drink. I was there to have my hair colored and cut and my stylist was Thida. She was professional and pleasant. I was never ignored like I did with some other salons. Either Thida or the receptionist would come and ask me if I needed anything. My hair turned out wonderfully, just love it =-). I do and will recommend all my friends to Studio H2O Salon. Thanks so much Thida. more
