Studio 924 Hair Designs

Hi--my name is Andy and I have been going to Studio 924 for the last 4 years. Jen has been my stylist. I have nothing but the highest praise for her ability to make me look good. I am a DJ and a teacher. She is able to keep aging in check. I look and feel younger as a result of her work. What is really cool about Jen is that she is always learning new techniques. She explains them and is willing to fix anything I do not like. The staff at the studio is friendly and it has an upscale feeling--I feel like I could be in Portland OR, Toronto, or Montreal. They give me tea, make me feel important, and make me laugh. I love Studio 924 and recommend them to anyone who wants an amazing cut or hair color. I have been going to Studio 924 for over 3 years. They are helpful, flexible, and can cut hair. Melibe, needs to be deleted from this user review board. She/He rated three hair studios negatively, including Studio Quest, Studio 924, and Blues A Cut and Color all on the same day! Who patronizes three hair studios and then writes three negative reviews in one day? She/He is making this up for some unknown reason. Instead of writing fictitious reviews, maybe they should see their mental health professional. Back to Studio 924, Highly recommended, parking can be tricky but you can always park on a side street and not having 100 inches of snow will help this open up some spots. Great selection of aveda products. I have really short hair and they can provide a free clean up between hair cuts. Would not go anywhere else. I have had a very different experience at Studio 924 than the previous reviewer. My sister recommended Jen to me when I moved to Madison about a year ago and I have been seeing her ever since. I am very comfortable with Jen. She is great at what she does and is fun to talk to while I am getting a new ""do"". She has nursed my overprocessed hair back to health and has given me a color that is more flattering to my skin tone. She doesn't try to do anything wacky with my hair, but does offer suggestions to improve it. I would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend. Just to show how much I like her --- I drive all the way from the west side of town! Pros: The salon is in a great old building with character. Cons: Parking on East Johnson can be a challenge. more
