Great experience 9/9/2011

My daughter brought our grandson to Studio 150 for his first haircut. (My daughter and her hunsband also have Teresa as a stylist). What a wonderful experience. Teresa, the owner, was patient and did a fabulous job. What a handsome boy! Teresa also took time to help me with styling products. The salon was very clean and everyone was very friendly. I will be back again! more

I have been going to Teresa Carolan for years! If you look at my picture, you can see how amazing my color is. Well, I went in yesterday for my maintenance check up of a partial foil and Brazilian Blow-out, and I vocalized to Teresa that I was thinking of cutting my bangs (I have not had bangs since 3rd grade), and she was very helpful. She didn't make me feel pressured and gave me honest, sincere feedback on if that would work for my hair. Ultimately, we decided to give it a try and it was the best decision I could have made. We both laughed about it saying: ""we should have done this sooner."" Thank you Teresa for always making my hair so beautiful. Even when I have little freak-out sessions because I am afraid to cut any of my locks, you are always so patient and kind with me. Again, thank you for the decade plus of stellar service! more

Great color and cut is important to me. 9/8/2011

It is important in my sales position that I look my best for presentations each week. I can honestly say that Studio 150 has always given me an excellent color and cut. I know that I can have my hair done, leave the salon and go to my next meeting feeling beautfiul . Now that is good!! more

Great Service, Great Color! 9/2/2011

I was so nervous to find a new salon after being with my last stylist in LA for the last 3 years. Riley took such good care of me. I told her my formula and she knew the product and how to translate that to the Redken they use. I am a very very happy customer and can't wait to go back for my next service. What I loved the most is that I felt like I've been going there forever, even though it was my first time. I highly recommend the salon to anyone who hasn't checked it out and I'll be going back FOR SURE! Thanks Riley! more

Open on Sunday! 7/10/2011

I needed a salon late on a Sunday and this salon was very accommodating! Jason is very nice and gave me an updated haircut that I love! He also showed me how I could duplicate his work at home.I would recommend this salon to everyone. Very happy :) more

Like many people, I can barely afford my bills, let alone afford to get my hair done. However, let's face it, hair is a top priority. So even in this economy, for my own peace of mind and happiness,.I quit with the store bought color and went to Studio 150 for help......... Which leads me to this. I wanted to publicly say THANK YOU to Studio 150 and to Jason! My hair looks awesome!!! Your prices were reasonable, ESPECIALLY considering Jason's experience and the salon location. I will be back and I will refer my friends! I AM SO HAPPY! more

Jason is a maestro with your hair! I went in with my very thick, very straight-as-a-board heavy hair and I left with a textured, layered long bob, that had swing and lightness and the most unbelieveable color - three different blondes that look soooooooooo goood! more

Theresa is the best! 1/27/2011

In a conversation with a woman that had the best haircut I'd ever seen, I found out that Theresa at Studio 150 does her hair. So I went to Theresa, told her the story of meeting her other client and described what I wanted. Theresa not only gave me one of the best haircuts that I'd ever had, but she made great suggestions as well. I am thrilled that I have finally found a new stylist that I will stay with for a very long time. more

Nobody touches my hair except Teresa at Studio 150! My wife and I have been going to this salon for about 6 years. These days I live in Seattle, but it is worth driving over the bridge to Kirkland for the friendly service and a great cut. I'm not sure what I'll do if we move further away. more

Oustanding hair salon 6/16/2010

If you want to have the best foil/color and look like a million bucks, then you must make an appointment with Riley. My hair was dull and it needed quit a bit of help. I was so happy when I left with very shiny hair, looked very healthy and the color was out of this world. I have had so many compliments on my hair, two of my co-workers now have Riley do their hair. She is up to date on all the products for your hair to keep it looking fantastic inbetween appointments. Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel right at home, great coffee too! Studio 150 is a great find. Thank you city search. Oh by the way Riley gives a great haircut as well. Ladies, this salon is a must and guys you will like it as well. Where can you go and get an awesome haircut from a good looking staff. Ask for Riley you won't be sorry. Pros: very talented stylists more

Great Style in a Comfortable Setting 4/16/2010

I have been searching for a place to get my hair cut and styled in the Seattle area since I moved here last year. After a few failed attempts (too expensive, too gossipy, bad cut, bad color....etc etc etc) I was hesitant to try another new stylist. What more could you want? 1/31/2010

I was nervous about my first visit to a new stylist because I'm so picky about almost everything having to do with my color and cut. Deanne was my sylist and she did an amazing job at listening to everything I requested. She was very fun to be around and I left with the exact cut and color I asked for. Not only was the service perfect but I felt like I was chatting with a good friend while I was there. I thoroughly recommend this salon and I will definitely be back for more! Thanks! Overrated??? 12/28/2009

After reading all of the awesome reviews for Studio 150, it seemed like the only place I would want to go to get my hair done in the city I just moved to. I was only looking to get a haircut and had a walk-in appointment with their stylist Deanne. I have had extensions in the front of my hair for the last year or so to give me an A-line style and wanted her to trim them in the front (my previous stylist left them too long for my liking). My hair was never washed (I am used to having it shampooed and conditioned prior to it being cut and styled) and I didn't feel like my stylist really listened at all to what I said before she started chopping away. My hair is now shorter in the front, instead of the A-line style that I get extensions to achieve. Not only is it shorter than I wanted, it is also longer on one side. Because of this, I will be driving 3 hours back to my old stylist and paying to have new extensions put in, since the extensions I just had put in are now shorter than my regular hair. Very disappointing experience for a salon so many others raved about. Pros: Location Cons: Terrible haircut more

Excellent experience - consistant results 12/1/2009

I've been going to Teresa for 16 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Her knowledge and skills allows for clients to receive a style that both flatters their features and exceeds their expectations. The other stylists in her salon are extremely well trained and you would be hard pressed to find another location where the owner is as concerned about the skills and progression of their stylists. Regardless of whom you see, the experience is guaranteed to be great. I highly recommend her salon for anything from a simple cut to the full package. Highly Recommend this salon 10/18/2009

If you want to feel like a million and LOOK like a million, go to this salon. I'm new to the area and not only did they squeeze me in on my first appointment when I needed it the most, but I came out with a fantastic haircut and style from Riley Carolan. She's excellent and knew how to deal with my frizzy/temperamental hair. How often do you go home and put your head under the faucet so you can style your hair yourself? Not here! My hair has looked great everytime I've walked out the door. I've noticed other people in the salon look really great, too. Prices are very reasonable.
