If you want to get scammed then go here. They either have the most consistant incompetent staff, or they're just downright scamming customers. Everyone in my family have had something go wrong with orders, and this last one, and I do mean last literally, would have pocketed them over 200.00 in addition to the insurance reimbursement for them. I'm quite sure this is happening to all the other customers, but most do not understand exactly what is right regarding an optical prescription, or specifics on lenses. The funny thing is when you KNOW it's wrong, and they give you some ridiculous excuse to why it's not wrong. For example: The progressive level of bifocal lenses I ordered were so low on the lenses, I had to hold my head up to read. They' re excuse was, and I'm not joking here, "That's how they're suppose to be, and tilting your head up is natural". WHAT THE......? Really? Wait a minute; did I walk in here with an S on my forehead, or what? Were my eyes closed when you measured? Of course after they realized I wasn't an idiot, they re-measured the level, and replaced them. Four weeks later I might add. This is only 1 incident. Best eye care I have ever recievied. Dr Strong and her staff did a wonderful job with me. I am a very difficult person to deal with. Her staff did a great job helping me pick out the right pair of glasses .I can finially see!! Pros: professional Cons: none more

So, I figured going to an Ophthalmologist would provide better service and treatment, I was wrong. This place is HORRIBLE!!!! They are so unorganized, if they are like this with normal day to day tasks then what do you think will happen to your EYES! I wouldn't trust anyone in that center. \r My story...I received a discount card and made an appointment. I came in for my appointment and presented the discount card. I completed my appointment, they scheduled a follow-up appointment for the following week and gave me my bill. When I got home I noticed the discount wasn't applied. I went in that next week for my scheduled appointment, discussed the discount not being applied and was told it will be given to Jane Strong and refunded back to me. The front desk attendant then escorted me to the doctor?s office. After 30 minutes of waiting in the doctor?s office (I could?ve stayed in the waiting room and looked at magazines) she walks and doesn?t understand why I am there. I more

I got my annual review here for the first time in Dec 2007. I had to wait an extremely long time for the doctor. Then, after my eye exam, I ended up paying over $100 WITH my insurance. I have never paid so much for an annual exam. Usually the cost is covered. I am already a contact lens wearer and have used the same contacts for years but because she claims she "fit" me for contacts, that is where the additional cost came in. Also, I called to get a trial pair since I ran out and had not received my new contacts but they refused to give me and since I did not order thru them. Why would I pay double for the same lenses I can order online? Stay away from this place!! Pros: none Cons: everything more

I found Dr. Strong to be very competent but slightly expensive. Her staff on the other hand can be high pressure and rude. When we were choosing glasses for my daughter, the technician added on every option possible (lens coatings, etc) and the bill came to much more than I thought. When I realized it later that day, she said it was too late, they had already ordered the glasses. It seems like they get paid a commission on what they sell and that's probably the reason for the high pressure sales. I had a good experience at Pearl Vision in Cypress (next to Target). Much nicer staff !! more

My husband and I spent top dollar for two sets of glasses each. The nose piece came off my glasses. Strong Vision charged me $5 for a nose piece. I walked into Pearl Vision and they charged me nothing. Strong Vision Center will not receive any more money from our household! Hold on to your pocket book if you walk through their door! more
