Streetman Chevron

I just made a complaint with chevron over this station. I was traveling to Houston from Wichita Kansas and stopped here on the way to get gas. After leaving the station I immediately started having problems. My car has been in the shop for 10 days now. They just found out what the problem was. There was more water than gas in my tank! My first warning sign here was that there was an abandoned truck in the parking lot. Now, because 4 different mechanics couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car, I have spent nearly $2,000 dollars trying to fix my car when all it needed was the gas changed. Do NOT buy gas here. Just to have your engine cleaned from water in the tank is almost 700 bucks, so think twice before you fill up here! We will see if Chevron is willing to back up their mistakes here... As a frequent traveler between Houston and Dallas, I thought nothing of it when I went to get gas at this service station. Within 2 miles after filling my gas tank with the gas from this station my car was immobilized. I was in a very limitedly populated area and forced to tow my car for repairs due to excessive water content of the gasoline that was pumped from this station. Prior to filling up my vehicle was working very well. I had to have all of the gas removed from my car, spend money on water removers and my vehicle was not functioning the same afterwards. I strongly recommend thinking twice about going to this station for gas. On the other hand, the service was okay within the store as long as you were not complaining about anything or having a problem with what was going on. Pros: When I first went to the station for gas, the employee was respectful and curteous Cons: the gas was 1/3 water and I had significant car repairs due to this among having to be towed. The customer service and curteousy were absent after I went back and made a formal complaint. more
