This is really a great bar. I'm not much for bars in Manchester but this is a particular find. It doesn't appear to be very big from the outside but this is very misleading. There is live music guarenteed every day of the week if I remember correctly. The main part of the bar is big and open, all wood, with a very casual, pleasant feel. Downstairs is a sports bar with more of a college feel. There is also a billiards/game room, with plenty of comfortable chairs to relax in. You generally can find a good mix of people in the strange brew , and it's a very relaxing place to go.
