Avoid !!!!!!!!!!! 6/29/2006

My wife and I had lunch there on Friday, June 30. The best part of the meal was the bread and cinnamon butter. The bread was hot and tasty. That is about where the good ended. The lobster bisque was warm, not hot, and just ok on the taste. The crab cakes had no flavor and the texture was not appealing though the sauce was good. This meal was not worth $50. Head heard good things about other restaurants in this chain, so I was excited to go to this one on WEst End, and went for a company sponsored dinner. The service was subpar and slow: some people got there salads after others got there steaks. Two of us got the filet medium rare: mine was gray and dry in the center while the other was done correctly. I hesitated to send it back due to the long wait. Oh, and did I mention that the line to get your car from the valet was 12 deep? Maybe they just need to work out the kinks in this new restaurant. Pros: ambience scene Cons: food, service more
