Worst

I've heard horror stories about this place, and seen thier work! I've worked for a GREAT dentist for 6 years and let me tell you, crowns are suppose to last at LEAST 5 YEARS, (us...

Clean, neat and organized. When it comes to procedures, I would agree with some other posts stating that sometimes the diagnosis does seem correct and then you end up spending a lot of money on root canals and crowns. \r \r My wife went in to get some work done on her teeth. The dentist recommended that she get a bridge, so one of the receptionists gave her a quote on the cost of the procedure and then the work was performed. A day later after having a lot of pain, my wife returned to have the dentist alleviate the pain with another procedure. Upon our arrival to the dentist, the receptionist tells us that the bridge that was done the day before was not covered by our insurance and that my wife owed $1700 for the procedure (all this after we were told it would be less than half of that). My wife was basically forced in to having a procedure done that she thought would be covered and then wasn't told about the true cost of the procedure until after it was finished. Who does business this way? \r \r This outfit does good work, but they're dishonest and all they're really concerned about is money. If you see their facility, you'll begin to understand how it was financed.\r \r Also, there are a few good receptionists who are very polite and cordial, but half of them are rude, not very outgoing, and they don't trust that you know how your insurance covers you. \r \r Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend Stonehaven to anyone. If you remember anything from this review, remember the word... DISHONEST. more

Dishonest Dental Facility 7/20/2010

First off, I was a dental assistant for several years and take immaculate care of my teeth. I haven't had a cavity since I was 14. When I went to Stonehaven Dental, I supposedly had 6 and needed a crown! I get cleanings every 6 months and know how to read xrays. I saw no cavities. Thinking I may be wrong, went to TWO different dental offices and BOTH dentists said I had NO cavities and neither dentist could see why Stonehaven had recommended a crown. hmmm...suspicious don't you think? On the plus side, the office is very clean and my assistant was great but I didn't feel the hygienist or dentist were friendly. Beware going to this office you pay for unnecessary work. Also, they charged my insurance for the work that needed to be done BEFORE even doing the work, this is not right. I did get it reimbursed but it should have never happened in the first place. I will never go to this office again or recommend it. Pros: Clean, Great Assistants Cons: Dishonest, Not Personal, $$$ more

It was amazing on how everyone was smiling! I had two cavities, instead of just telling me and making me pay. They looked at my teeth, showed me where is was. it was preatty cool. more

great family practice 1/13/2010

Had to have a check up the other week and I thought I would have to take my two year old to a different dentist, but stonehaven was able to see me and my kid!! They took great care of both of us. My kid really loved all of the extras (toothbrush, toothpaste, t-shirt, and prizes). Will be going back. Pros: can see our whole family more

DON'T GO. THEY USED TO ROCK, BUT NOW ARE DISHONEST.? 7/8/2009

I just got back from Stonehaven. DON'T go there. They used to be cool, but their office staff lied to me and my wife, and then talked down to us like we were children when we called them out on it. Mistakes happen (I am ok with them making a mistake even though it ended up costing us over $100 in charges.. (would have been $200 but they lowered it some)... The thing that really upset me was when they lied about my wife. Saying she told them something regarding insurance which was completely false. Instead of saying, ok sorry, our mistake they talked down to us. Moral of the story, there are plenty of dentists with office staff who won't lie to you. Go there. Pros: They used to be awesome Cons: Staff is no long professional more

I really enjoy your staff everyone there made me feel comfortable. I told my husband the only thing you could have done was to call and check up on a patient after surgery. Sure enough the next evening I got a call. I am very satisfied. Thank you for being a great dentist office. more

Best Prices, Best Staff, Best Office 11/24/2008

After everything I heard about this office I expected it to be perfect, And it WAS! I had a tooth ache and they got me in within the hour, not just to look at my tooth, but they fixed it too! Their prices were about the same, even a little lower than some other offices I called. But my first visit was free. The office was really high class, they offered me bottled water, cookies, and gave me a free shirt. All rooms have tv's. The doctor seemed very professional and knowledgable. He explained everything that I needed to have done and why. I only had one question billing, but as soon as I called, all my questions were answered, i didn't even get put on hold. I definitely recommend this place, they are wonderful. Pros: experienced, fast, competitive pricing more

Customer Service 8/10/2007

I have never seen Customer service as good as Stonehaven Dental. From the momuent I called I was treated with respect and class. I got a free shirt and my little boy loves the office. I was please because I was able to be sedated while I got my wisdom teeth out. I highly recommend these people. more
