We love this place. My pets are always excited to visit and I can go whenever I need them (unlike my last vet that required an appointment even when we my cat had been attacked by the neighbors dog!) You don't always get to see the same vet but they are all nice.\r more

We wouldn't trust our pets to anyone else! I brought my dog here after she got hit by a car. They saw us right away and helped me to understand what was happening. She had to stay a couple days and each time I visited the staff was always very attentive. The doctors answered all my questions and Lilly is doing great now. I'm so grateful that they were there for us!\r more

Dr. Carder consistently provides excellent care for our rather ""accident prone"" dog. We have so much confidence in his opinions and our dogs really like him. He seems to understand ""dog psychology"" very well.\r more

  • The Stone House Animal Hospital was established by the original founders, Dr. Darrell Carder and his wife Gail, on December 6, 2002. Initially, Stone House operated as a 24 hour veterinary hospital focused on providing your pet with the tailored care they deserve, no matter what time it was and without extra fees. As our hospital continued to establish itself in the Topeka, KS, area, their healthcare model shifted to a “walk-in” only practice. By focusing on convenience for patients and clients alike, our new model helped expand our client base drastically. And as our hospital’s client base grew, our in-house team also expanded to bring aboard the incredibly trained and highly-qualified Dr. Albright.
