Stokes Chevrolet

i came in on a Friday it was late and i had not set my mind on what truck i needed> I have three young children and i had to make a good decision on exactly what i needed. My salespersom Tom Brown was very helpful. He helped me find the car that best accomodated my family and got my payment to where i was comfortable. The store closed and he stayed with my wife and I till we fully understood all the Onstar and gadgets that were on the vehicle. My wife and I decided we were starting a new family tradition and that was that we would buy from Stokes Chevrolet In Clanton from now on. I was worried when GM got into the trouble they did. My car was hit while in a parking lot and received some minor damage. Nothing that was major, but a very large dent and a paint job was needed. I had 3 estimates done and Stokes was the middle one. I took it in and was told that it would take a week. That was fine, so I rented a car and left my car there with hopes of picking it up a week later. When I arrived, nothing had been done and I was told it would be another week. That was not so fine, but I had the rental car and my car did need repair, so again I left it there. When I returned again, the dent had been fixed, but not very well and the paint job had not been completed. I was angry at this point and picked my car up at that time and took it someplace else. It was repaired in a timely fashion at the other repair shop. I will not use this company again in the future. more
