I WOULD GIVE IT A ZERO IF POSSIBLE--I have been to this shop before and purchased a single cigar awhile back, but I received a gift card for my birthday and went back, NEVER AGAIN...

A great cigar store & you can drink here too... 1/3/2012

A very nice, upscale shop with good selection. Not the biggest selection but no complaints at all. They don't have much low end stuff and plenty of high end cigars like Opus X, Ashton VSG, Padron Aniversario, etc. Prices are good. They're open really late. Service has been very courteous and knowledgeable. The Robusto Room is attached so I think this is the only place on the south side where you can still smoke and drink. more

a really nice comfortable shop. 12/28/2011

I had my very first cigar here 6 years ago. I was extremely pleased with the service and large section then, and i am still extremely pleased now. Ive been to all of the other cigar shops in town and there is equal. Some shops may have slightly cheaper prices. But none of the shops have the same knowelge and costumer service. This place has been around this long for a reason! there is no other shop for me, and there is no other shop that you can smoke at, drink at, listen to live music, and watch the game at in the state. lets just say that they have earned my business for multipule reasons. more

Not Your Typical Smoke Shop 12/28/2011

I read a couple reviews and was worried, however the staff and experience at Stogies and Bogeys was AWESOME! I walked in knowing very little and was greeted with a friendly staff member (don't remember his name unfortunately) who diligently helped me find the right stick. After the purchase I was able to sit and have a drink in the full bar and chat with some really genuine people... not the old crusty cigar guys like other shops. The prices are only slightly higher, but I think with having the bar and an open atmosphere it is more than worth it! I will definitely be back and bringing my friends. more

Best shop in town! 12/28/2011

I've been coming here for a while and I agree that the old manager was pretty rude but he's also long gone now. I'm what you might call a regular. The staff is great and they seriously know their stuff about cigars. Plus they have a full bar. Can't beat that! more

TOTAL RIP OFF 1/8/2011

I WOULD GIVE IT A ZERO IF POSSIBLE--I have been to this shop before and purchased a single cigar awhile back, but I received a gift card for my birthday and went back, NEVER AGAIN, I spoke with the rude person at the desk and he wanted to know what I wanted, I told him I had a 100 bucks and wanted to buy a box of cigars, he rudely told me that there was no way I could buy a box for 100 bucks, I said wow you guys have expensive cigars and the he rudely told me that I must buy my cigars online and don't know about the cigar tax, I purchased 3 (4) pack boxes for 104 bucks, what a total RIP OFF. I do buy most of my cigars online and am very aware of the cigar tax, BUT I looked and found the same brand and selection as I purchased there, I could get 10 cigars from my place and that would have cost me $29.99 plus freight, WOW does the cigar tax triple the cost, I don't think so, NEVER AGAIN more

Cut and Dry 1/4/2011

Poor selection of cigars. I don't even know if they have a humidor either since all their cigars are very dry. Customer service is terrible. Employees do not know what they are talking about. more

Customer Service is terrible... 1/31/2010

My first time I tried to visit this shop was 15 minutes after they were supposed to open on a Saturday. Well - after 10 minutes of waiting outside in the cold, I left. The second time I stopped by, I was treated and talked at like a 12-year old. I asked about the lower-end Pete J. line (Ambos Mundos) and the response was, 'I only smoke the higher-end stuff, so I wouldn't know."" I think they make up for the lack of knowledge with arrogance. That is the first and last time I visit this store. There are many other cigar shops that I've been to in the Denver area that at least treat their customers with an ounce of respect, this place is not one of them. The only benefit I saw was they had a decent selection of OpusX and Liga Privada at decent prices. Pros: Their prices are not outrageous. Cons: Lack of knowledge, attitude of staff. more

The best and most unique cigar shop in Colorado 7/10/2009

I am a very happy regular of Stogies & Bogeys. First of all, it's the only cigar shop in Colorado that has a full bar. Their prices are very reasonable, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about cigars and everyone I bring there becomes an instant regular. I have also started shopping on their website MyDiscountCigar dot com and have only had positive experiences. 3 years as a loyal customer!!! Cigars in Lone Tree? YES! 7/6/2009

A fantastic selection of fine cigars, knowledgeable staff...A great place to go enjoy a cigar after a tough day. Cozy and friendly, I can't think of a better place to enjoy a cigar and drink. Yes, you can drink here as well with a full bar and lounge. Hey...lunch there would be perfect! A cigar and scotch before heading back to the grind. I love that its so close. Recommend all to visit and see what the fuss is all about... Pros: Great selection, smoke inside, wonderful staff Cons: Not enough people know about it yet... more

Best cigar store in Colorado! 7/5/2009

I've been coming here for 3 years now and keep coming back. I am always bringing my business associates and friends here to check this unique place out. Beautiful cigar shop! 7/5/2009

I have become a regular of this place (and so have many others because it gets busy!) and love the environment. It's an upscale atmosphere but the prices are normal cigar shop prices. There is no other cigar shop in Colorado like this given the bar. They are one of the few places where you can legally smoke a cigar and have a drink. The waitresses are friendly and the cigar staff really knows their stuff. LOVE IT!! Pros: Great selection of cigars and has a bar too Cons: Nothing more

Easily my favorite cigar shop in the state 7/5/2009

Other than being a fantastic cigar shop with a great selection it is attached to The Robusto Room, one of the best martini lounges in Colorado (and you can smoke there too!) The shop has a terrific selection of upscale cigars (Opus X, Ashton VSG, Padron Anniversario, etc), as well as great boutique brands (Tatuaje, Gurkha, CAO, etc) and a huge selection of lighters and accessories. The staff and owners are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I can't say enough great things about Stogies and Bogeys and The Robusto Room. Pros: Full bar! Great selection, gorgeous smoking lounge Cons: None! more

Used to Be a Good Place 6/2/2009

This used to be a cool jazz club. Now it's filled with a staff that has attitude and a crowd that's barely college eligible. If you wear your hat sideways and visit the bathroom every 10 minutes for whatever reason than this is your place. Cigars are over priced, probably focusing on the rich kid crowd that doesn't know any better. Pros: Cigars in Douglas County Cons: Staff, Crowd more

Went in to get a ceremonial smoke, and the service was very knowledgeable. I'm sure I'm not spelling his name right, but Calen was very thoughtful and showed me a wide range of prices from their excellent selection. I had a great experience and got exactly what I wanted. more
