Skilled Professionals 12/16/2018

Tim and Steve are very well versed in the law and take an aggressive approach on behalf of their clients. Some may call their approach crass and rude, but the they get the job done; that’s the bottom line. Everyone makes the statement “I hate lawyers until I need one.” Well if you need one, you want Steve or Tim to represent YOU and not some half-wit putz. I would recommend Tim to anyone who ask my opinion. He assisted me through a divorce and was remarkable. He did not waste my time or money all while keeping my vision and wishes in mind. more

Tough Lawyer 12/11/2018

I have recommended several friends and one family member to Tim Stoesz. He took great care of them. What I heard from them is that he doesn’t overcharge, only bills for time he actually spent on their case, and doesn’t waste time discussing things that aren’t pertinent. Mr. Stoesz doesn’t do the job to make money, or at least it seems that way. I also hired Tim for a personal, post-divorce issue. He attended a hearing and prepared and filed several documents and then an agreement for us. He is honest and tells people when to fight and when to agree. He didn’t waste my time on the phone talking about things that wouldn’t help me, but he also listened and understood my goals. Bottom line to me is that he didn’t waste my money or time and rack up a huge bill and he got great results for me, personally. more

I met Tim Stoesz over 10 years ago through a family member's divorce. I saw his dedication to this case first-hand. Over the past ten years, I have recommended Tim Stoesz to many family members and friends with positive outcomes given their individual needs for an attorney. Within the last two years, I needed my own attorney for a difficult divorce. Tim was the attorney I called for my own services as well. Through research and experience he gives top notch legal advice, knows the system, protects his clients, looks out for their best interest and is known as one of the best trial lawyers in the State of Indiana. more

Avoid Tim Stoesz if you are looking for honest and true representation 6/26/2017

After the initial free consultation with Tim Stoesz I felt that this is a lawyer with integrity and knowledge. Months later, I discovered that I was mistaken, big time! Tim appears to overwhelm himself with cases that he can't handle. He doesn't have time to learn much about your situation and he even forgets to advise you about basic things such as attending the required divorce workshop. He is not responsive and will avoid you. You will do all the work on your own and then he will find no time to discuss your findings neither with you nor with your spouse's attorney. You are better off representing yourself. At least this way you can save some time and of course money! I had to let go of him and hire someone else, but only after I lost my money and a great deal of time. more

worst in the area by a mile 10/24/2012

I hired this firm for a divorce case. not only did they not return calls/emails. They also missed meetings notices from the court, opposing counsel messages, messages from mediators.... The list is never ending. In person will convince you they are allin for you. When you leave i assume they laugh and yell "sucker" as you walk out of their office. In my life i have never worked with a company or firm that is less professional and less cocnerned for their customer/client than this firm. Hire at your own risk or simply go down the street and find another attorney. more

Top Notch yet Down-to-Earth Attorney 2/9/2006

Tim Stoesz, of Stoesz & Stoesz in Westfield, is a fantastic lawyer! I chose him as my divorce lawyer after a friend recommended him. He gave me great, honest, grounding advice when I needed it. Although it didn't come to that point, I felt Tim would've gone the distance for me. He was gentle in his dealings with me, yet a hard $$$ with the opposing lawyer and her client. His rates are reasonable and I never felt like he overcharged our time. more
