Service was terrible; waited over an hour for food and my guests were offended by rude treatment from waitress. Food arrived cold and water tasted like it was from the tap. more

When you're finished lounging on the beach, or just ready for a dinner after a long, hard day at work, THIS is the place to go. We usually sit outside or in the open cafe area, and once inside--the service is always good, friendly and attentive. For newbies, I recommend the grouper, which has got to be the tastiest, crispy, flaky, golden fish I've ever eaten--and being from the Low Country, I've eaten a lot of fish! Every single time I go, without fail, the grouper is excellent, hot, and incredible! I love their take on cole slaw, to which they add little pineapple tidbits. The Low-Country boil is quite good, and my daughter swears by their shrimp. The crab stew is full of tasty bits of crab, creamy and wonderful on a cold day. This is a wonderful place any time of year, but in the spring and summer, it's just unbeatable! more

We always eat at Sting Ray's when we visit Tybee Island. It is a great place to sit outside on the deck, listen to music and ""people watch"". Sting Rays Seafood is a great restaurant. It's located on the back river of savannah and has a beautiful view of the sunset on the river. You can also watch the dolphins swim by. It used to be a boat dock that has been made into the perfect beach restaurant. more

Holy Cow! This place has the biggest and best fish sandwhich EVER. Technically it is the Grouper Sandwich but it is huge and everything you could ask for if you are a fish sandwich lover. Walking distance from the beach we were pointed here by a couple of ladies that worked the tourist info center on the way into Tybee Island. My wife had a boied shrimp platter that she swears was some of the best shimp we had on our whole trip including Savannah and Charleston. The A/C wasn't working well that day but it didn't matter. The girls working the place were friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Pros: Great Food, Nice People Cons: Air Conditioning was on the Fritz more
