sticky fingers 3/23/2006

People have been raving about Sicky Fingers bar-b-que for quite some time. Since I don't eat meat this restaurant was not high up on my priority list so we never tried it. My daughter got a gift certificate for Sticky Fingers and she really wanted to try it (she does eat meat). We decided to do take-out so she could just get what she wanted. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess. I told her my daughter had a gift certificate and since I don't eat meat we would just take out. Heather, the Manager, overheard me and rushed over to introduce herself. She told me that they did in fact have vegie burgers although it wasn't on the menu and could accomodate me at anytime. So we decided to eat there and really enjoyed our food and the service was great. more

Surprisingly Good Ribs 2/2/2006

We haven't been too impressed with the restaurants out at the beaches here in JAX, but we loved Sticky Fingers last night! We all had the sample, a full rack of pork ribs divided into five sections for each of their fantantic 4 sauces plus one Memphis dry rub. Everything, including the perky and efficient service, was top-notch. I've never had ribs before with so much MEAT on them -- and the sauces available were terrific too. I especially liked the Tennessee Whisky sauce, but the Habanero was also great. more
