Bad: We signed up our 9-year-old for a 6-month contract. After a few classes, he decided he most emphatically did not want to continue ("it hurt too much", he didn't like some of the instructors, etc). By this time we had already paid almost $300 in the upfront fee + 2 months. We were ok with that being already paid, but wanted to stop the remaining 4 monthly $100 payments.
First, nobody returned my voicemails. Then I spoke to someone who said they would have someone call me. That never happened. Cont'd:. Other: Finally I spoke to Erica. She said that because we had signed a contract there was nothing they could do, but I could talk to Education Funding Company, the company that processed their payments.
I spoke with the correct person there, but he refused to stop the upcoming 4 payments even though I told him we would not be using the services.
I well realize that we signed a contract, but for both of these parties to take over $600 from us when they know that we will not be using their service is disgusting.
