The Best Store in Baltimore 5/30/2012

The day I closed on my new home, I went to Stebbins. Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.I love it there and I try to make a trip once a month. I purchased paint for the entire house and even the shed and pantry shelves. The paint department is phenomenal. The gentleman who work there are so knowledgeable and delightful! I bought the Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa paint for my bathrooms and it is worth every penny! Just like they said- no water marks,streaks,etc. I used a color called black satin and it looks like velvet! All the Ben Moore Aura Bath and Spa paints have a very matte finish but they are tough and resist moisture.\r \r I also found a variety of door knockers, door numbers, and cabinet hardware that you don't find in Home Depot, Lowes,etc. This store is A+ and reminds me of what stores use to be like before they all became "Big Box" Giant Superstores! more

Stebbins has a fine selection of outdoor furniture, kitchen gadgets, decorative items for the home, garden supplies and a hardware area. It is a great place to wander around and shop. more

Much more than a hammer and nails 11/30/2005

You've never been in a hardware store that looked like this...Christmas is my favorite time of year to visit. Reasonably priced ornaments, candles, collectables, etc. This store is a true facilitator when shopping for that person who has everything. They carry originals and replicas. Sort of the way you want your house, old world warmth and charm with a modern kitchen and bath. Lots of character with all the convenience. Great neighborhood hardware store 11/20/2005

Stebbins has always carried things that you can't get at Home Depot or Lowe's: odd hardware, specialty tools, hard-to-find wood finishes and paints, unsual moldings. Service is very good. Upstairs they have housewares and furniture with lots of nice gift items. They have cleaning products that you will not find anywhere else! Fun store for browsing and buying. more

I looed all over for patio furniture and Stebbins Anderson had the best highest quality teak tables. The prices were rather high for your everyday home purchases, but great for those extra special purchases. more

Fun Place to Shop 9/9/2005

Stebbins is a really fun and nice store to shop, especially around the holidays. They have some unique items, as well as a large selection of holiday ornaments and supplies. The prices that they charge do tend to be a mixed bag. You can get some really good deals, but then other things are expensive. Overall though, the quality of the items is high and the salespeople are all very nice. This store is worth putting on your list to visit. more
