In addition to the food being sub-par and expensive spending over $100 at the restaurant, the owner, Michael Wystrach berated us for asking to use our Groupon for the purchase price of a measly $15 (not the promotional price). After the expiration date, Groupon fine print allows the business at their discretion to honor the full promotional value OR the purchase price.
We emailed him with the fine print sharing how we were disappointed in our recent visit and just wanted to rectify the situation. He wrote back that maybe in the future we should avoid getting ""anything for an expiration date including but not limited to milk, eggs, coupons, gift cards, drivers licenses, or credit cards"" and that we should quit blaming others for our own problems.
I will NEVER spend money with a business owner that acts like this to our family who spend money at his establishment. You shouldn't either.
