I have Citizens home owners insurance on my rental house as well as automobile insurance through this broker. They have sent me letters to my rental house (where I don't receive mail), although I have corrected my address several times with them. I know they do have my accurate address on file because they have it correct on my car insurance. I was speaking to them on the phone yesterday. I told them I would be down within 10 to 15 minutes to pick up a form needed to renew my home owners insurance. I drove in the pouring rain, and was there at 4:28. They were closed. Their office hours state they are open until 5. I can only assume they closed early because it was raining hard. I had just finished telling them that I was coming down only a few moments earlier. They could've called to tell me that they were leaving. I picked up the form this morning. They acted as if the incident never happened. It's incredulous that they would leave after knowing their customer was driving down in the rain and not even be apologetic regarding the whole incident. The staff is polite and courteous. Unfortunately, they know nothing about professional courtesy. They are not very informed when I call regarding a question or to make any changes. Statefarm's jingle about being there definitely does not apply to this agency.
