I was pleased to have help moving furniture within the house. The movers brought in the necessary tools to move the heavy pieces and were very considerate in placing the furniture in the new rooms. They were personable - easy to talk to and understood what I was trying to do. more

WE contracted with Starving Students in order to move our daughter Christa and her children. The 3 movers we had were without a doubt EXCEPTIONAL! Polite and hard working and went beyond the call of duty Wwe were most appreciative to have them and would appreciate you passing on our KUDOS to them all. BAIT and SWITCH 7/1/2011

Starving Students took almost twice as long as other movers on an identical job. We moved out of a 2nd floor apartment to a storage unit six months ago. The movers completed the job in 2 hors flat. Starving Students moved us back from the same storage unit to the same location, and took 3 1/2 hours. Truck was not equipped with proper dollies and equipment. We were charged extra for driving time, which was not previously disclosed. Movers misplaced items, and although friendly, wasted valuable clock time and were not efficient. Although Starving Students quotes a lower rate than other movers, BEWARE! By the time they get done with their add-ons, double time, moving without proper equipment, and other charges, they end up costing more. more

Movers were very helpful and informed me of all information on forms before signing. They informed me of prices and mentioned ways to help make the move less costly. The movers asked questions about furniture and items before picking them up and moved me and my things within a 2 hour window. They were both very helpful and considerate. I would definitely use your services in the future and recommend your company to anyone looking for a moving company. Thanks again for your help! more

Above and beyond 4/29/2011

When the movers arrived at our home, they realized that their truck would not fit up our driveway. They worked with us; we ended up renting a 10' Uhaul and your movers loaded the 10' then took it to their truck and unloaded it. It added an extra 1 1/2 hours to our time, but the movers were very accommodating. more

Dear Folks at Starving Students Moving Inc: I wanted to write this letter to personally commend George Green and Chris Smith, the two hard working professionals you sent to our house to move us on 29 May 2010. Both of them worked very hard, were very professional in the manner they moved our belongings and I enjoyed the experience as much as a move can be enjoyed. The day was hot, it was their second move of the day, and yet they did not complain, they worked steadily and I was amazed at the way they packed the trailer. It was a true pleasure to be moved by these two competent, professional young me. Please extend to them our heartfelt gratitude and thanks for a job well done. more
