WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE BEST TWO MEN IN THE WORLD!!! 7/15/2011

There were two men that helped move our furniture. Their names were Mac and Chris from the Martinez, CA office. WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE BEST TWO MEN IN THE WORLD!!!!! They were friendly, courteous, careful with the furniture and very efficient. If I move again, I will be requesting them!!! more

Very friendly & helpful 7/12/2011

I called several places before calling starving students. I was told that they don't have equipment to help with the move or that they just weren't interested. When I contacted starving students, I was greeted with a very friendly & helpful representative. My move was taken care of the very next day! When the two gentlemen came to my door, they were very professional. It was clear that they had their job cut out for them. This was not going to be easy. They were persistent & calm. They took their time to think things through. Very methodical. They were so careful and moved in increments of inches to get my armoire up the winding stairwell. They were amazing to me. Very strong, & very smart, and very conscientious of their surroundings. The whole thing was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you soooo much for helping me out and with such care! more

They made it very easy 7/11/2011

The three guys that showed up for my move were very professional and polite. As soon as they arrived they got to work and completed my move quickly. I only moved a storage unit with things already boxed, but they made the whole process seem very easy and effortless. The move was so quick and efficient, I got to enjoy the rest of my day without having to finish up, clean up, or reorganize anything. more

This was the 3rd time I used the Tacoma, WA team at Starving Students. I actually had one young man on two of my moves. I have told several people about Starving Students. I think they do a really nice job. Very pleasant. Also last minute boxes and different sizes is very helpful. Thank You. more

Extremely professional and quick 6/27/2011

My personal experience with Starving Students was great! I spoke to several movers and read blogs online before deciding on this company. There are quite a few extra costs involved, but I found that to be the case with all of the moving companies. However, there were no hidden costs and they were very forthcoming with everything, so I was able to make an informed decision. The two young men they sent to move me were very professional and extremely quick. They made sure everything was protected well and, although they were very fast they took care with my furniture. No marks or bumps on the walls or my stuff! I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do I'll definitely call Starving Students again and would highly recommed them to everyone! more

My husband and I were both very pleased with the 2 movers 6/23/2011

My husband and I were both very pleased with the 2 movers from Starving Students. I was called two days before the move, even though my move date was confirmed last minute before a holiday weekend, and then again the morning of the move. They showed up 1 hour after the call and finished in 3 hours! They were very quick with the loading and unloading even with an issue we had with our couch - they found a way to get it out one door and into the new place. Very friendly and courteous to boot! more
