I called around 10:00 am today to schedule a move, and was asked when I wanted to move, I simply said "today" and within 20 minutes I was called to confirm my address and was told...

hard workers 8/9/2011

the two boys who moved my furniture worked really, really hard. i'm not going to complain because i feel that my complaints were actually my own fault. i didn't realize how much furniture and stuff i had - plus, they moved everything upstairs, in the pouring rain. i should have suggested three or more movers instead of just two. those poor kids worked incredibly hard. i would say that next time i'll ask for three or four helpers, except that i'm never moving again. more

My movers were very careful, strong and friendly. I would have them again. But when it comes to my wood bedroom furniture, I think I would prefer a higher level of carefulness. As I've cleaned my wood furniture I've noticed small marks here and there, possibly from the straps. Again I don't necessarily fault my movers, it's just that I have a few pieces that I want handled very carefully. The price was good. I love the stress free cancellation policy. I could have been a little more ready on my end, but that because of the situation I was in when I was trying to pack for the move. Again my guys were great. more

Just took a lot longer than expected...not that that was any fault of our 2 movers, they were great! They worked their butts off! I did get one hole in my living room chair, but that is my only complaint, but I would definately use Starving Students again. Both movers were very friendly and helpful. more

I would recommend 7/22/2011

The company stated they would contact me a day before the move and they did so. They did call and let me know they were running a little late and showed up when the dispatcher indicated they would. The guys worked in a timely manner and handled the furniture with care and treated both my mom and I with respect. I would recommend your company to others. more

They were the best. 7/13/2011

My movers arrived at 10:30 on Saturday morning after I had been notified that they were on the way earlier in the morning. Both gentlemen were very friendly and professional. All of my items were treated with the utmost of care and concern. I really can't say enough good things about Terrance (Terry) and Richard. They are extremely hard workers. We moved across town and everything was a HUGE success. I would recommend them to all of my friends and co-workers. The one item that stood out to me and my family the most is both movers had a wonderful attitude. Moving is never an easy thing, but with MY movers we laughed and had a great time. They were the best. more

We have used moving companies multiple times over the years. You guys were one of the best we have ever dealt with. From start (sales guy was great by the way) to finish you kept us in the loop and treated our move (and us) with respect. more
