Everyone was very proessional and communication was perfect. My move was SO much easier using Starving Students. Movers worked very fast and were sensitive to keeping time and cost down for me as the customer. more

As an interior designer, although retired now, I have worked with numerous moving services. I have moved both customers, as well as, my own personal moves. Your company was the best in efficiency, planning, on time, pleasant and helpful, that I have experienced. The Manager, did a great job, as did his crew. As my husband had just recently passed away, they made the moving day the best experience that could have been possible by their supportive attitudes. Thanks for making it easy for me. more

positive attitude the entire move 5/18/2011

The 4 men worked non stop to move our office. 2 of the men had to move 6 offices to a 2nd floor. They maintained a positive attitude the entire move. more

My movers were very respectful of us and our stuff, they were very careful preparing my furniture for the move. My time slot was anytime between 8:00 am and 12:00pm, they showed up at 9:10am. more

Beware 5/15/2011

The staff broke off 2 switches and knobs from my washer. The cost to replace it is $373.00. When I informed the company, I was advised because I did not purchase the more expensive insurance, it would only be reimbursed at 60 cents per pound= less than $60.00 it's insane that I would need to purchase insurance to cover their staff. This wasn't mentioned when I booked. I felt sorry for the guy who broke it was concerned he may lose his job. So I gave a nice review, he assured me the cost for the washer would be reimbursed. I found the workers tried to take their time, as the rates are hourly; they tried to make long conversations. There were 2 workers. I advise you to stay with them at all times, because if you don't they go as slow as possible. One ripped a hole in the plastic cover for my mattress. He took 10 minutes to tape up the hole. I finally told him it was enough. Don't use this company. Total rip off, sadly theres no integrity. more

one thing that impressed me was that they were problem-solvers and not just muscle men. we had an unusual situation with a large sofa and they didn't flinch at ""lowering it over the second story balcony"" when it wouldn't fit down the stairs. more
