Starving Students Movers

I have used this company two times and have been very satisfied on both occasions. The movers are always polite and seem to know what they are doing. Even going up a flight of stairs with heavy furniture did not change their demeanor. They are also very fast at what they do. Certainly will use them again in the future if I have the need. more

Like I said, both young men were VERY professional. I have used Starving Student twice in the past and did not bother to call any other service. I was suppose to move in the afternoon, but there was a cancellation, so they came earlier. They were both excellent. They worked every minute and made my move much less stressful. They were both VERY, VERY efficient. I cannot say enough about how happy I am about chosing to use Starving Students again. I have told many people at work that I used Starving Students. Your prices are very competitive and I believe I was charged fairly. more

The movers were very polite and kept a positive attitude when they had to help us move in just terrible weather conditions. It was raining cats and dogs, but they kept smiling and moved our household in a safe and organized way. We would recommend Starving Students highly! more

Just wanted to say that the 2 movers we had were very hard workers and did a great job. You guys are lucky to get good workers like this. Ive used you guys a few times now and always had a good experience. It also helps make it better if we are prepared when you guys show up! more

I paid for 3 guys, they banged up my $2000 refridgerator pretty bad. Thier insurance will only pay a small portion of it, claiming I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT MORE INS. \r They also made me sign away nothing was wrong with the furniture, after they left, my wooden dining table had a huge dent in it, they never even showed me. \r I saw one of the workers take my husbands sword out of the garage and throw it into his truck without my permission... all this after tipping all 3 guys $50 a piece.\r They ripped us off BIG TIME Pros: Fast Cons: damages, fraud more

I used these guys because the bad reviews had not been submitted when I used these guys...\r Two days before the move, I called twice to give them the inventory of what I had at the house and to ensure the truck was big enough and they had guy capable of moving everything...I did not want to make two trips. My house is only 3 bdrm. The truck was still not big enough to load everything. \r \r When they discovered they would need a third man to load the refrigerator. The owner showed up with an attitude because he had to drive the third guy to help with the refrigerator move...apparently the third man did not have his own car. \r After the two men loaded what they could...The owner (manager) walked into my house with an attitude and complaining out loud about having to bring someone all the way up to Anthem and then looked straight at me and said nothing...AFTER HAVING ME WAIT 30 MINUTES BECAUSE HE DID NOT PLAN CORRECLTY! \r The four men loaded the refrigerator into the truck yelling and snapping at each other. It was so unprofessional. It was like watching four Stooges move that thing...REALLY!! \r When we finally got to the new location, the owner/manager said out loud...""Hurry it up! I am only here for you to move the frigerator""...I was shocked at his attitude. As he made his way to the car, he told the guys, "" you keep him and take him back to the office""\r So now I have three movers...I think great! quick and easy...and then I watched them drop my dining room table in the driveway....OMG!! \r After all was done...the owner/manager tried to charge me $155. too much!!!...over $950... CHECK THE MATH!! \r \r As I am settling in...I have found several scatches, tears and dings in other furniture and the refrigerator...has a hose that was ripped out when they moved it into the truck. I need to get that replaced....this is all besides the dining table. \r \r If you value your belongings...don't use them! Pros: nice guys... My wife and i recently had starving movers complete a move for us. We were on a budget and we gave them what we could spend so we had all of our boxes packed and everything out so they could move quickly. When the movers got their they advised my charges would between 200.00 and 220.00 for this , they clasified this as a small move. So they authorized my card for 200.00 . When the move was done they said they needed to add almost an hour of drive time to the total. They never disclosed this to us and advised our bill was for 350.00 plus. I am very reasonable but it really seems they are a bunch of liars and crooks. i would never reconnment this company to anyone. If you choose to use them you may want to think twice Pros: None Cons: Many more

Ok i called these guys one morning and they said they could send a truck over in about an hour. They showed up on time, made an effort to work quickly, and dropped stuff off without damages. Their price was right in line with estimates.\r \r The call center (california) was professional, efficient and mentioned that they conform to CA standards, unlike a lot of companies in LV (i SWEAR i do not work for the company!) All around a quick and painless move. Pros: Workers were very polite. Call center was efficient and persuasive. Cons: Not much to mention. more

We had a move in February and we used Starving Students. We were beyond impressed with the service we received. William and Marvin were the gentlemen who did our move. They wre courteous, helpful, careful, friendly and very sincere! We would request them to do any future moves we have. \r \r We are so appreciative of the hard work they did for us and how easy they made our move. more
