Starving Students Movers

LET ME MAKE THIS SHORT AND CLEAR! if you want to be disspoainted in all aspects and be lied to with price then go ahead and use this company.. if you're a smart person and do not want to deal with crooks stay away! the price they give you over the phone... make sure to add another 110-140 dollars to it because they lag to make the hours go buy so you pay them more. more

I wished I had researched this company. I had already moved the majority of my items myself so I thought hiring Starving Students to move the rest would make my life easier. I WAS WRONG! The move appeared to be going in slow motion. They seemed to be attempting to pad the time. The three movers sent stretched out what should have been a 2 hour job to almost five. Several furniture items were damaged along the way. NEVER AGAIN! AVOID STARVING STUDENTS MOVERS!!! more

I would certainly choose your company again -- but I HOPE I won't be moving soon! :-) more

The two movers that assisted me were hard workers, took care to make sure that all of my furniture was padded and shrink-wrapped. I appreciated the extra efforts made to ensure a smooth move. I wiould definately recommend to others. more

Both movers were very friendly and quite helpful. They had a hard move since we had 2 sets of stairs to move furniture. They were respectful of the furniture and took care to wrap carefully needed items. By the end of the move, we felt like ""family"" I would recommend them to anyone who needs a move. more

great listening by movers, to me and to each other. very honest about not wanting to move my glass items. extremely professional attitude during the move, moved my items safely in less time than they quoted. thank you to them, don't remember their names, but they were super helpful. more

would be a four hour job for a 2 man crew. Oops.) Anyway, the guys immediately got down to business and began getting the huge number of book boxes out to the truck. I am a book collector and we had about 100 boxes just of books. One of the guys sang while he worked, occasionally stopping to tell me a joke and make me laugh. He was a really nice guy and had a fabulous attitude toward the job itself as well. All of the guys had that attitude where they gave their all to the job to try and get it done under the amount of time on the estimate rather than going slow and taking all day. One of the guys, my singer from Georgia, was honestly running with his empty hand truck from the elevator into our apartment, loading the truck with five boxes of books, then running with the full truck back to the elevator to unload. Over and over, he ran the circuit. You don't see that every day. Once they had the boxes loaded it took them less than two hours to load all the furniture in the house and get on the road. Upon arriving at the new place they got everything out of the truck and into the new place in about an hour total, even managing to put all the furniture where it belonged in each room so we wouldn't have to deal with moving bookcases around later on. As I said before, while they estimated that the move would take eight hours, they were done in around five hours, saving us a ton of money. more

The movers were very polite and kept a positive attitude when they had to help us move in just terrible weather conditions. It was raining cats and dogs, but they kept smiling and moved our household in a safe and organized way. We would recommend Starving Students highly! more

Everyone was very careful, even the Grandfather Clock was moved carefully. There was not a scratch on anything. They did a great job and I would use them again! more

I was totally amazed with the integrity of the two movers. One of our items was left in the truck, mixed among their moving supplies. I thought about calling the company to ask if they had located my item, but figured it would have been discarded. A few days later, the movers brought my item to my house on their own accord. The average person would have thrown it away - but these guys were nice enough to bring it back. I am totally impressed. When I move again, I will definitely call Starving Students - I hope these two guys still work for the company; I will definitely request their services!! Thank You!! more

Movers were very personable and willing to answer my questions. If I was concerned about a certain box they even tried to make sure it was on the truck and locate it if within reason. I was very happy with the service. more

Just took a lot longer than expected...not that that was any fault of our 2 movers, they were great! They worked their butts off! I did get one hole in my living room chair, but that is my only complaint, but I would definately use Starving Students again. Both movers were very friendly and helpful. more

From the initial phone call to get a quote to when the truck left my new location, I was treated so kindly and respectful. The experience overexceeded my expectations. Moving is a stressful enough situation so the genuine attitude of the movers was very touching. They truly cared about my belongings, but I never expected them to care for me as an individual. I am a raving fan! more

Both young men were VERY professional. I have used Starving Student twice in the past and did not bother to call any other service. I was suppose to move in the afternoon, but there was a cancellation, so they came earlier. They were both excellent. They worked every minute and made my move much less stressful. They were both VERY, VERY efficient. I cannot say enough about how happy I am about chosing to use Starving Students again. I have told many people at work that I used Starving Students. Your prices are very competitive and I believe I was charged fairly. more
