Worst

Was supposed to move today, a Friday at 1pm...but they never showed when they were supposed to. They kept calling saying they were almost on their way, but, sadly, they were not. ...

Was supposed to move today, a Friday at 1pm...but they never showed when they were supposed to. They kept calling saying they were almost on their way, but, sadly, they were not. Unfortunately, our new building is one of those that don't allow residents to move in on weekends or after 5 pm on weekdays, so basically we were soon to be out of a lease and no way to move into our new apartment because Starving Students were late. To top it off, they were rude to me about it, never apologized, and didn't even try to fix the situation. The reason they were late was because they scheduled a 5 bedroom home move before mine. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD THINK A 5 BEDROOM MOVE WOULD BE DONE BY NOON?!?! I would not recommend these movers to my worst enemy. more

These guys were professional and quick. No scratched items or anything broken. Fast packing and fast unpacking. Follow specific directions for unpacking as items went all over the house. more

highly recommend Starving Students 5/20/2011

This was one of the better moving experiences I've had. The phone calls before the move explaining everything that would happen put my mind at ease. My movers were very professional with their work but very caring with me. It's hard to find people that don't treat you like just another job order. I would highly recommend Starving Students. more

This was the 3rd time I used the team at Starving Students. I actually had one young man on two of my moves. I have told several people about Starving Students. I think they do a really nice job. Very pleasant. Also last minute boxes and different sizes is very helpful. Thank You. more

I'll hire SS again 5/16/2011

I live 1,800 miles away in Northern Kentucky. SS moved my granddaughter in California twice, the first time in September 2010 and the second time in January 2011. The second time was on very short notice - a day and a half. The movers were all ass and elbows loading the box truck I had rented. I was, so to say, ""out of dodge"" in short order and enroute back to Northern Kentucky within eighteen hours of arriving in California. If I ever go back to California and am in the same situation I'll hire SS again. more

The movers were great--very polite and efficient and they really knew their stuff. They even wiped their feet every time they came into the house. They were such great movers, so professional, I would highly recommend Starving Students to everyone I know. It was really reasonable too. more

I would reccommend Starving Students anyone! Also, with all the add ons I had, my move was still less costly than my kids, who were moved by another company! I hope your company treats the movers to an occasional massage, because they deserve it! They work very hard and so efficiently. This is the first moving experience that was pleasant! If I move again, I will call your company. more
