Stay away from this location!\r The service is terrible and the food is not better!! My waitor spent the entire night by the front door talking to other employees! It was really loud and too many people in a small space! The waitor(DEVIN) took it upon HIMSELF to add a 20% tip!!! I will never come to this location EVER AGAIN!! more

My girlfriend and I decided to try Starter's for dinner and found the food to be very boring and not good. The service was also not good as 2 waitresses spent a good amount of time standing and talking right next to us. This seemed strange considering the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. We ordered spinach/artichoke dip as an appetizer - nothing special here. For our entrees, we ordered burgers (regular cheeseburger and reuben cheeseburger). The beef patties were not well seasoned and were horribly cooked. One was ordered to be medium, and the other medium rare. What we received were an overcooked burger and a well done burger. If a restaurant cannot make a simple burger correctly, it makes me wonder about the quality of the rest of the food on the menu. The fries also lacked seasoning and were undercooked. We also noticed that several people around us seemed to be sending the food back. We would've done the same but I doubt we would've gotten anything better than what we already had. Me and my mom went to Starter's before noon, and there were a few other guests there. Service was quick but the wait staff was kind of ""dead' acting and not enthusiastic. My mom is big on smiling and our waitress DID NOT. Hostesses stood around talking and staring out the door, kind of unprofessional. The food was good, I got scampi and my mom got grilled chicken and shrimp. She said the chicken tasted like shrimp, and not in a good way. Overall it was decent. I probably wouldn't go back.
