Stark Street Animal Clinic

Like the person who wrote a review below me, I have been seeing Dr.Powers for years and now that he is no longer at Mt.Hood pet medical, i will be following him to stark street animal clinic! He is by far the best vet I know of. I tried seeing someone else at Mt.Hood and although they are nice and all, I cant help but want to see Dr.Powers because he is a vet that i know i can fully trust to help me make the best decisions concerning my dogs. He is so very knowledgeable, and he takes the time to really explain things thoroughly. In all the time I have been seeing Dr.Powers, not once have I ever felt like I was rushed out of the office with a quick diagnosis. He always takes his time explaining things and looking at treatment from ALL angles. I dont know what the person is talking about saying they felt judged on their appearance but I will say, I have drug my butt into the vet looking like a hot mess and there were times where I cried my eyes out in front of Dr.Powers and let me tell you, nobody is pretty when they cry lol. But he has never once reacted bad in any way to my appearance, good days or bad! So to the girl who thinks she was judged for looking so good, honey pull your nose out of the air and get over yourself, or find a new vet! Thanks for your service Dr.Powers, I will be seeing you soon at the new office! more

I know Dr. Powers from when he was at Mt. Hood Pet Medical Clinic. He was the nicest Vet. Dr. that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting--- so great, that I had to ask Mt. Hood Pet Med where he went to! He spent extra concern and considerable time helping me figure out the best options for helping my elderly, sick cat ""Allison"" in the summer of 2010, while he was working at Mt. Hood Pet Med. He is absolutely in this profession because of his love for all animals. I saw the review about how one client seemed to think that he looked down on them for wearing nice clothing, or ""appearing rich"". I am sure that was a misjudgement by the client- and they still commented that the Dr. was great! more

They did a great job on my little ""Tiger"" (Kitty) I can't even imagine taking my Tiger anywhere else. I have trouble walking, and they even carry him in and out to the car for me. I think that they know their business, and do a darn good job at it. 5 S*T*A*R*S* guys !! Pros: They did a great job, at a fair price, hardworking team. Cons: None, they even take coupons ! more

I have been taking my dog there for years, she has some skin problems, plus she was fix there and i have cought 11 feral cats that the dr. has spayed or neuter W/ the oregon coupon it is only 33.00 and 44.00. bottom line: THEY LOVE THERE ANIMALS!!!!!! Pros: for the amazing jobs they do have the best prices Cons: i cant think of any. they like the animals they care for. more

If you have any nice clothing or accessories do not go to this clinic. Since they are so inexpensive they look down on you for having better things than they do. The Dr. is great but everyone else is horrible. Consider going elsewhere. Pros: Cheap Cons: Morons more

Dr Barry has treated our 2 dogs & 2 cats and we have been nothing but pleased with treatment and prices. He was informative but also did not do unnecessary tests that could have resulted in major costs that other vets insisted were relevant & needed . Dr.s ""bedside manner"" can seem a bit ""gruff' at times but his quality work is in the proof of effective treatment. We will only entrust this man with the care of our precious family members. He is that good. Pros: stayed on point Cons: not pleased with receptionist. she did not relay message more

I was very pleased going to this vet. I had a great experience. I had to have two of my males neutered, and they did a great job! I felt at ease, they were fine and didn't have any pain. Pros: Great very friendly!! more
