From the moment I walked in, this place (including the wonderful, professional management team) was exactly what I was looking for. Not only are the rates unbelieveable, but the newly renovated rooms are nothing short of amazing. They are spotless, with newly laid hardwood flooring, and the beds are huge and extremely comfortable. Jay was the manager with whom I made the initial reservation with; and I must say he was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions I had quickly and efficiently. He was very kind and professional, but made sure to communicate to me what the rules were. I feel totaly comfortable and safe here. You will be shocked if you even hear a cricket at night- that is how quiet and peaceful it is. Not only would I recommend this to any traveling person or family, but I would also recommend it to any parent whose child might be in between apartments, or simply exploring local college options. Azusa Pacific University is located directly across the street and Citrus College is less than a1/4 mile away. There is public transportation available right out the front door, as well as local eateries and grocery stores. This place is five stars in my book and I will always stay here when I need a home away from home:) more

My wife and I searched for a good hotel close to Azusa University and found this through Expedia. We were very pleasantly surprised by many aspects of the hotel accommodations and staff. The manager was extremely kind and respectful, as well as the housekeeping staff. The room was clean, and newly remodeled. The bathroom had new granite tub surrounds and vanity, new water-saving toilet, and instant hot water. The room also had a new mattress. The only real downside was that there was not a coffee maker in the room or lobby. Lastly, we were able to walk to all the events taking place at APU. more

Good value for your money but don't expect ANY extras--no ice machine, Kleenex box, or carpet in the rooms. Really clean. Nice and helpful manager.. Rooms recently remodeled. Kind of like a room you might find in Europe. Not cozy, more serviceable and less decorative. We will definitely be back more

The rooms have been remodeled recently! They have flat screens, new A/Cs (which is awesome because they work great no matter how hot it gets here), and newly redone BATHROOMS. They're fairly priced, and much better than the other motels around. more

Great for no frills stay, clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and helpful. Close to many restaurants that you can even walk to. Great location, easy in and out. more

Very nice and quiet ,friendly front desk . Super clean large room with refrig. and micro.Very nice low rate along with near the train station metra , not far from the ribfest party . Nice family owned will be back next ribfest thank you !!!! more

Ive been coming here for years when I'm there in the Pomona/Ontario area on business. The business has been here for awhile, and needed much love and care. I used to know the old owners, who had been there for years. Recently, this place has gotten much nicer, I highly recommend it. more

OMG we couldn't beleive how nice this room was. Let me back up with the thought of getting a room for a few hours in Pomona was already freaking me out. We rolled up about 3:30pm took me less than 5 minutes to get the room. You have to show your ID and I gave him $50 cash which i got back $20 when we left. He put us in room 114 which af first we didn't see because it's literally hidden in the corner. When we walked in the room right away you see your HUGE King Size Mattress. My friend I was with was in love w/ the flat screen TV on the wall. Yeah, this place had a nicer TV than I do in ny own house. Also there's a nice sized stainless steel mini (didn't seem that mini to me) refridgerator. Bath towels felt soft, not those thin crappy kind you'd expect to find at a motel w/ these low prices. I'm a picky person and have stayed at several hotels/motels from California to Georgia to New York, ending in MidWest. This place is absolutly clean. Definitly recommending this to anyone needing a room. It's right next door to a Carrows Restraunt off Foothill btwn Garey and towne. I didn't even bother reading what the poster before me said simply because of CAPS making it look like a bunch of whining. more

i went to this place to check out the rooms prior to a reservation for my family and a guy was shooting up right by the front door in the middle of the day. i can't really say anything more than that because i never made it out of my car. Cons: the existence of this place is a con in itself more

Do not go here unless you have no where else to go. Things you will have to put up with: rude and apathetic service, sketchy locals/inhabitants of other rooms, disgusting rooms. I would expect to pay no more than 30 dollars for such a place. Carpets are filthy, bedsheets and comforters have holes in them, the bathrooms are dirty etc. There are more por n channels than regular tv channels, and it seems mostly people trying to get lai d go to this place for a quick, cheap, classless fix. Of all things, NEVER bring your significant other to a place like this unless you want to risk losing their respect, among other things... Pros: Nothing. Cons: Bad service, Sleazy, Sketchy surroundings, Disgusting Rooms more
