Starcrest Cleaners

The first time I took my cleaning to Starcrest, I took my winter coat to be cleaned. I knew it was missing a button, but I thought I would get the coat cleaned first and fix the button later. I didn't even mention it to the Starcrest staff. Imagine the pleasant surprise I received when I took coat out of the dry cleaning bag and realized they not only cleaned it, but also replaced the button (using an extra button from the inside of the coat) - they didn't mention it and didn't charge me extra for it. What a great first impression!\r Since then, I have regularly taken suits, sweaters, etc. to Starcrest and have received excellent service and perfectly cleaned and pressed clothing. more

i took my wedding gown there to be cleaned and preserved. when i got the box out to show my aunt i was really disappointed. it was falling off the form and way down at the bottom of the box it looked terrible. i assumed it was vacuumed sealed but i saw a slit in the bottom of the box that i could stick my finger in so i knew it was not vacuumed sealed. i called the next day to ask if they vacuumed sealed for wedding gown preservation and the woman that i spoke to on the phone said yes. my parents took my dress back to get it fixed and everyone that was working didn't know what to do or what to tell my parents and they said they would see what they could do. so i went in there today and i assume i talked to the owner who was not helpful and very rude. he said all they could do was open the box and TAPE my dress up higher in the box, but then the box would have to be taped shut. like they couldn't put it in a new box? then i asked about the vacuum sealing and they said they didn't do th more

We took our child's winter coat there a couple years ago and they melted the coat. The tag in the coat said to dry clean only. We did not get reimbursed for the damage. Beware!! Poor service! more
